The button on the right is actually quite usefull, rotating it is a good selection tool when you don’t want to bother with touch screen during driving. Also very useful for radio tuning of course.

Ì have a VW Touran (2010) with currently a RCD310. With this radio, the speakers dashboard, the front doors (bass) and in the rear doors can be balanced with help of the fader. Does the RCD330 allow for this too? Especially, do the speakers in the rear doors work?

Yes this system has balancer on it so you can choose where you want the sound, and yes rear speakers work fine all speakers work fine with it

Hello mate. Thanks for your videos, really helpful! I've just bought a RCD330 NoName for my VW Polo 2011. Would I need any adapters other than the aerial? Also, does the front USB port charge your phone slowly? I've read a few reviews that suggest it doesn't charge fast at all.

No i dont think you would need anymore adaptors, and yes the front usb charges very slow as its purpose wasnt intended to be a charger its just for connection for android auto and apple car play mainly

Yes reverse sensors work fine i show this in the video haha, and yes you can do that quite easily, you will have to code the system to recognise a reverse camera has been attached though after u done wiring it, its a simple yes or no box very easy to do

Just get regular rcd 330, never heard of the 360 pro, especially the pro part i think they added that to make it sound more better

I've got a couple of questions if you don't mind, or even if this is still relevant! I have my love Golf GT (MK5), and just a normal steering wheel. . I am looking to buy a new steering wheel now, and I am torn between the GTI's 8-button MFSW and this one. So, my Qs.. 1) Which model is this specific MFSW? 2) Do ALL the buttons work with the radio (call, hang up, next/prev, vol+/vol-, + trip control? 3) If yes, would that same setup work in my case MK5? Yes all buttons work, mic button only mutes and unmutes there might be way to map it but i havent found a method

Desay runs on windows cpe, and noname runs on linux. The noname ones tend to come with more ram so tend to be slightly faster but do cost more

Nope unless you can get custom software to run that on otherwise no only way to play videos currently is through mirrorlink. Yes parking sensors show up fine. I will be posting videos over next few days on everything in detail

Can you skip forward/backward say 10 seconds through a track by using only buttons on the steering wheel alone? How about play/pause?

Currently I have my iPod connected so I can view the playlists on the screen, you reckon I will get that same thing on the rcd330? I had my golf since it came out the showroom, going strong Alhamdulillah 🙏🏼 Do you reckon it’s worth buying the rcd330? Just for the apple carplay might be bit too much. Thanks for the led video.

Oh thats very odd, im not sure about that, could be software glitch, wiring problem, you can try soft reset the headunit hold down the power button which is the volume knob and hold it till screen flashes and it reloads. If it still doesnt work try take it out take off plug replug it, if that doesnt work get a refund and get a new system you might have a faulty one

I got either a 310 or a 330. It looks exactly like yours. It's in my car, which is a Seat Altea from 06. I got a few issues with it after swapping from the original to this. 9/10 times when i browse in the board computer, checking my fuel usage etc, it reacts as forward/backward when i'm listening to music through it. The board computer still browse through whatever as normal. When i receive a call through the radio, i often have to turn it off/on, and/or remove the usb cable in order to hear the person talking, while i use Apple CarPlay with my iPhone plugged in. Last one. I have terrible FM reception. I have to tap the plastic house a few times and somehow it often yeld in better reception, but it is not guaranteed. Any idea what is causing this issues? I got the radio antenna adapter and a quadlock adapter

Hmmm you might need a canbus adaptor as your car is very old for this system, so look online for that it might fix your issues

The guy i bought it from is doing engine boost service, so he know a little about cars, and when i told him about the issue he say i probably bought a wrong model from someone, so he refuse to admit anything or help me with it, so i guess its just a thing i have to live with

@@thedeballeurdepc7835 thanks, i think it might be a bug, unless you mean full reboot as in hold down the power button fully and it restarts then this will release some settings. Otherwise its a bug will just need a software update

Haha yh long pressing is basically a soft reset, its for when the device freezes or whatever so its restarts and clears the ram and some basic settings are reset its very normal. Its done to hopefully get your device working again in the event some piece of software caused it to freeze or whatever

Do your steering wheel controls work ok with it? I msged a seller on ebay+by the sounds of their reply its hit+miss depending on where the car is manufactured

AliExpress 180, Ebay around 300, with Aliexpress it come from China thats why its cheaper as it take nearly 1 or 2 months to come. Whereas ebay ones are resellers who already bought them and waited so they reselling as you can get the item within 3 or 4 days, i say just buy from where ever is better for you

kind of yu will have to use a line out converter. You splice it into the rear speaker wires and it converts the signal to RCA outputs which you run to the amplifier. There are guides on golfmk6.com for wiring a line out converter.

Oh if you got one off ebay then its pretty simple to do, the issue with mine is i want to use my oem one which needs converting from the old signal to the new signal, rgb to cvbs or something and finding a working adaptor is all the issue. I just been using parking sensors all this time they work very well so im not too bothered about it

When I went on Spotify on CarPlay it was even worse, full volume and still bad music quality. CarPlay was lagging/slow, navigating was bad and everything. I’ve been long thinking about purchasing this one (now around €300) but these things kept me from purchasing it. How’s your experience on these points? Thanks for the quick reply by the way!

The sound quality is really good, like is barely noticeable difference in quality, i loved the quality of this system, its almost like factory. Trust me when i say that cos i hate my new BMW sound system, this golf one with this headunit was so damn good

Can you please find the exact version you have on Amazon/EBay and link it on here? There are too many different versions of RCD 330/360 to find the proper one. Most of the ones I am seeing don’t have the AUX port like yours has. If u can pleas link the exact version you have I’d be very grateful.

Mine is noname version, but its very hard to get nowadays with all the right features, and this is normal price of the radios haha, this is what i paid but i got heavy discount for youtube

No didn't bother me at all as losing this tiny feature wasn't much loss compared to all the new features the new radio had, and go for it honestly its worth it and no problem

@@ronburgundinho3929 you can try but appconnect is useless anyways, its not worth the risk, if it messes up you will end up with a bricked media player, will then just have to a buy a new one

@@MrWaheedulHaque bro I plugged mine in after a month and it started to work for an hour but then overheated, so i’m guessing it has an overheat issue. Is there a way you know to fix this? Would adding a higher fuse do the trick?

When you plug in your phone to the USB does that charge the phone?

Oh cos i never use radio no need to i use spotify on bluetooth haha, and the logos do show up depending on if you got internet connection

No bro it's not worth it at this time the price for this thing is over 300 dollar now. They over priced it. Just use a phone holder man , don't spend that much money just to use Android auto .

Haha they still around 180 from aliexpress just downside is the wait which is 2 to 3 months. But worth it
