I'm digging the new tenors, they produce a great sound despite the shells being dented all over.

how come they never play these sick ass warm ups anymore...

From what I've heard from performers in high class lines, it takes too long to clean these warm ups and the time to clean the warm ups could be spent cleaning the show so overtime they've phased out warm ups like this in order to streamline the cleaning process.

The composer, Pete Sapadin, is no longer at RCC. He has a new group called Orange County Independent which won 2nd in PIO this year. :)

@xronderful its 6" and 8" spocks btw... but i like where your head is at haha!

they probably didn't have the reconfigured tenors from pearl with the 6" and 10" spocks

Ill tell you all whats going on pearl is redesigning their quads for blue devils and rcc. They haven't changed their design in years and finally realized that they suck so they are reforming it to the way blue devils want it. and their not done yet hence why they are marching dynasty quads.

Yes, i'm serious. I marched with a dynasty drum and bugle corps for 3 years. Yes, i have an idea of what i'm talking about. Their drums specifically their models from 2006 and 2007, are not durable. They cannot handle a summer on the road as well as other drums. A summer on the road is different than band class. (Most cases do prevent damage to drums by the way)

haha yeah seriously pearl quads do suck majorly. It is weird that they're using dynastys while snares used pearl. They didn't preform like that did they? They had pearls tonight(SCPA finals) and they looked great, not like usual saggy pearl quads.

Pearl makes some of the best drums. Period. If you say you like dynasty drums, you have never marched with a non bluedevil drum corps and had those fuckers fall apart. They're stupid to maintain, dont sound good, and are not durable. Oh, well i guess they're quads are level. Big deal. Real men can play on uneven quads with fuckin trees.

I figured the have dynasty tenors because Pearl doesn't make good tenors.
