This happened to me at a one day race in ny last weekend, mbx8r eco, hobby wing xerun8pro w/2200 kv motor, 4s gens ace 7500mah 130c redline battery, 46t steel spur, chinese (fleabay) 14t pinion done in 18 mins of run time.

Yep, if you search for mod1 5mm pinions on amazon all you get is poor quality pinions…

"Not worth it in my o-pinion."

Kyosho Pinions are very nice.
