Truly Amazing!! The mechanical action of the crane is fantastic and astonishing to watch at the scale that it is manufactured in. This is one of the best reviews I have seen you do since beginning to watch your videos back in 2012. Great review and thanks for all the videos that you have shared over the years.

I found this by looking at your top 10 models on your website. This is the best tower crane I've seen in any scale. It's very nice and the functions are incredible. I think it is great that it is in 1:50 scale too, so you could set it up with a large number of trucks and other machines.

I just today was wondering how a crane climbs I watched three R/L videos of the process and your model video answered a lot of questions I had. Like why there was a guy working inside the top section of tower and its because the ram only pushes the climbing-cage a potion of the section rise, that worker has to push-out the catch so it can climb again and set the pins{bolts} when its in place.

for those of us that don't know--how is this powered? does it use household current and convert it to dc, or run off dc battery packs? you showed a 10 channel radio, how many channels does this actually need to run all functions?thanks !

Mains powered converted to DC. It needs the 10 channels for all functions.

This rc model you can buy for about 1800,- EUR (without VAT = export price) in basic configuration and for about 3600,- EUR ( (without VAT = export price) in full configuration with all extras like in the review. Radio transmitter is additonal. I know this seems to be expensive, but nobody can imagine the long time of engineering parts and developing custom electronics and all the handwork done to convert such an rc-model. It took me 2 years and assembling one model is a work of nearly one month. Only 12 models are available but conversion of a static model provided by the customer is possible. This is a converted Conrad model #2050/03, but it is sold out almost everywhere. Maybe you can still find it in e-bay.
