I removed the drive-belt for this video to have rear-wheel drive to make it look like the real car.

Dieses Video ist für mich das Non plus ultra hier auf KZread was RC angeht, ganz ehlich ! Gruppe B, eins der schönsten tamiya Modelle überhaupt, top gebaut und tolle Musik. Und es macht gleich noch mehr Spaß dieses Video zu schauen wenn man ein TA03RS + das letztens neu aufgelegte Bodyset von diesem Modell zuhause rumliegen hat.

After working for months on my Tamiya TA-03RS Lancia 037, it finally was time to bring it outside! Nachdem ich monatelang an meinem Tamiya TA-03RS Lancia 037 gearbeitet habe, wurde es jetzt endlich Zeit, ihn mal nach draußen zu bringen!

I bought a used chassis on ebay for about about 50 €. The bodyshell was new in box from a local hobby shop here in Germany. I paid 40 € for the complete body parts set. But unfortunately the body parts set isn't on stock anymore. There are a few on ebay from a seller from Great Britain, but the price is over 100 € now.

Super gemacht! Ich sitze grade an meinem lancia Delta intergrale, seit Stunden frickel ich schon die Aufkleber da drauf. Mein Respekt werde alle Aufkleber fehlerfreie drauf bekommt! Ohne Föhn geht da nichts :-)

Da haut's einem echt den Bitumen ausse Schlappen 😍👌👌👌 Junge....allergrößten Respekt für das was du da abgeliefert hast... bin sowat von begeistert von deinen Aufnahmen !!!👏 Ich liiiiebe den 037...und der Style deiner Karo is echt der Ober-Scalekracher ❗❗❗ Suche selbst auch nach der Karo,auch nach einer aus der ich ne wirkliche Scale Kopie vom Lancia Delta S1 Gruppe B Monster dängeln kann, is abba scheinbar wirklich nur mit viel Eigenregie inkl. Karo aufschneiden und dann so anpassen das es passen würde möglich. Gibt die Karo scheinbar einfach nicht,hab zumindest noch keine gefunden die auch nur annähernd an das Design des S1 Gruppe B rankommt. Oder hat da jemand nen Geheimtip??? Suche seit gut 3 Jahren,aber außer KillerBody un Tamiya hab ich bisher nix gefunden was ungefähr hinkommen würde.

Eines der besten, wenn nicht das beste RC Rallye Video das ich je gesehen habe. Ein Tipp noch: wenn Du die äusseren Ränder der Felgen schwarz machst, wirken die Reifen nicht mehr so überdimensional gross. sieht dann eher aus wie das Original.
Brilliant. I think it would be nice to see a full metal Tamiya, with some realistic weight to it. Batteries might not last so long, but the physics would be enjoyable to see - a bit like in this video. Nicely made :)

I did it with mine I add adhesive wheel weights inside the body and the car moves so realistic now

Und noch ne Frage an die Allgemeinheit... bin auch nen Mega Walter Röhrl Fan,hatte 2 "echte" FIAT 131 Mirafiori "Walter Röhrl Edition". Wären die mir nich unterm Arsch wechgerostet...ich hätte die Karre heute noch 😍😍😍 Hatte zwar nen cw Wert von nem Kleiderschrank uff Rädern...einfach nur Eckig, aber zu fahren un vom Wohlfühl feeling im Innenraum der Traum. Meine hatten ne komplett Anthrazitfarbene Innenausstattung mit Alcantara. Waren beide Baujahr 1982 und ich hab das Auto nuuuuur geliebt,war genial mit dem Heckantrieb zu fahren.Die Schaltung hatte dermaßen kurze Wege,hab sowat seltenst mal irgendwo anders gesehn,geschweige denn gefahren. Wenn ich mich nich ganz vertue...laß mich auch eines besseren belehren, hatte Walter vor dem 037 nich mit dem 131 auch die WM geholt!??? Von dem FIAT 131 such ich auch wie bekloppt nach ner Karo, wer da nen Geheimtip hat,immer raus damit....biiiiitte 🙏😁
Love that you removed the FWD belt! I plan on alternating between RWD & AWD on my TA03RS 037. Simply stunning work. Did you change the motor from stock?

Thank you very much! I used the stock 540 silver can motor for this video. This motor had enough power for the video but for normal driving it will be a little bit underpowered.

Ich habe noch diesen Tamiya Bausatz auf dem Estrich und möchte ihn demnächst mal zusammenbauen und auch mit LED's ausstatten...

Vielen Dank, freut mich sehr! Ich habe warm-weiße 3mm LEDs (die Bezeichnung auf Ebay war "Golden-white") verwendet, damit es mehr wie eine Glühlampe aussieht.

Super job! Vielen Dank! Did the lights come in the kit or did you install leds ? I just bought an old frog/037 tamiya project but it only has basic body. Where is best to find decals?

Luke W Thank you very much for watching and for leaving a comment! Unfortunately the leds didn't come with the kit. But installing them by yourself is not very hard to do. For my 037 I used warm-white leds with a diameter of 3 mm. The main-headlights are ready to take the leds, but the additional lights have to be modified a little bit to install the leds. Finding original decals of the vintage frog version may be very difficult. Also there is a difference between the original frog version and the TA-03RS version of the body: There are bigger wheel houses on the frog version. So I don't know if the decal set of the TA-03 version will fit. But searching ebay from time to time may help.
What did you use to get the lights working
Erstmal super Video wie immer. Meiner Meinung nach soll noch eine Audi S1 Karosserie hergestellt werden , Korrigiere mich wen es schon eine gibt.

Von Carson gab es mal dieUr-Quattro Karosserie , welche auch noch relativ leicht zu bekommen ist. Der Dekorbogen dazu muss allerdings extra gekauft werden. Alles zusammen kostet dann so um die 50 €. Den S1 habe ich auch schon mal gesehen, weiß aber nicht mehr, von welchem Hersteller die war. Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen und für den netten Kommentar!

Auf losem Untergrund macht der Heckantrieb so richtig Spaß! Auf etwas griffigerem Untergrund wird es dann schwieriger, da der dann doch ziemlich über die Vorderräder schiebt. Da der Umbau aber innerhalb kürzester Zeit erledigt ist, kann man das ruhig mal ausprobieren. Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen und für den netten Kommentar.

+RcToThe FREAK Hi! Ja, ich habe eine Lizenz gekauft um das Musikstück in meinem Video verwenden zu dürfen. Es gibt aber auch viele Seiten im Internet, welche freie Musik kostenlos anbieten. Dann aber meistens nur zur privaten Nutzung (also keine Monetarisierung). Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen!

Hello Ron, first of all, thank you very much, I really appreciate this! I had the luck, to get a Lancia 037 body (which is really rare nowadays) new in box for about 50 $. The chassis is also becoming rare, but I found one on ebay for also around 50 $. If you are also looking for a Tamiya Lancia 037, I can recommend you to get chassis and body seperately, because the complete kit can reach very high prices on ebay.
