That’s why I’m getting into but for 1:7 I’ve only now gotten a resin printer just haven’t opened it yet. But yea gotta start somewhere so it’ll be body accessories and interiors and engine bay & engines. Just never know where the journey will take you, like arduino programming with pwm modulations.

You can’t help but love the timeless Ford RS200, my favourite all time car, it’s stunning practicaly from any angle 😊 yummy 🤤

That thing is sick I love these cars too and actually have one of the 2.0l motors from Europe but havent decided what I want to actually put it in. I was thinking a pinto then found out they had a similar motor in the early years before they went to the 2.3l.

i really love the project. But the fender cuts drive me nuts mate. next time take an exacto, cut with good pressure but guide the tip to prevent slipping. Then the cut WILL be your predetermined breaking point even if the lines are not straight. :)

Cool to see you make a group b inspired drift car, I’ve actually done a quite easy conversion on a traxxas fiesta ST rally car. I stripped the front driveline to make it rwd and to lighten the front a bit, locked the rear diff, and added gyro. Drifts even with the stock rubber tires but its a grip monster. Gonna try finding some harder compound tires to run soon.

You should be a consultant for some actual RC companies to help them out with their design. Seriously, this is on that level.

I love to do custom fabrication, I never understood computer.....well anything, I would have spray painted the flat chassis on cardboard, cut it, stretch it, pull it, drill some holes and hope for the best. O I ended up with a really nice Japanese set of manual calipers, dial indicator, but one items (ball end bore gauge) was gone out of the original 70s box, so it was cheap

By the end I was impressed, I don't have the computer skills for such things. Guess I'm going to stick with welding and metal fabrication.

i have one. but im not going to spend money on resin when im still figure out the design. all pipes will be resin printed in the end.

It would be super scale as shit if you could make the front & rear sections lift up like the full sized one.! It would be awesome to see it with the bodywork opened & displaying all the hard work you put into building the chassis.! That's not to say it's not already spur sweet...
