Vintage RC boat (Veesport 2660) in the pouring rain, running circles around an inflatable dinghy! OK, so the dinghy only has a 2.5hp outboard motor, but, still!
Veesport is running a Holmes Hobbies 35t brushed motor, an Etronix Probe WP ESC and a 2s lipo.
Filmed on Loch Lubnaig, Scotland.

Along with, doing the driving a car while you're driving an RC car, this is something I've always wanted to do. Not in the rain, maybe, but that's so cool. 😎🤘🏻

Lovely.... Just lovely.!!! What a gorgeous loch, it's been about 35 years since I was last in that area.. It's a beautiful place.! The RC boat can still hold its own.!! How old is it.?

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It certainly is a beautiful location. It's about 30 years old, I believe. Early to mid 90s.
So Mike, when is the inflatable getting a massive brushless system 😅 😅 . Sweet vintage boat . Nice to see that style rather than just hectic speed boats

Well, it's already had an engine upgrade! 5hp, so twice was it has in the video. Wouldn't be surprised if it was quicker than the old Veesport. Yeah, I have to agree. I love scale-looking RC boats, especially with the more realistic movement and behaviour.
