Did the people at SkyRC say "don't mention the fact it doesn't log location"? Difficult to believe nobody tells us whether or not this thing tracks location of the vehicle, in addition to the speed, altitude, yada yada yada.

I wish this boat had a roll over feature. It's the only thing keeping me from buying one. I have a cheap little $60 boat I bought on Amazon which screams pretty good AND has a roll over feature when it flips. I just don't want to go swimming in the cold water to get my Spartan if I ever got one. Haha

I run a Traxxas Spartan on 3 s lipo batteries. Your boat acted like it may have hit debris or a turtle. Tape the cover well to help with floatation and avoidance of motor water intrusion.

Did they change the app because in the app store the only one I see is the gear app. Altho it does have skyrc. Did they change it recently? I did go into the app and it does show the GPS module as well as 2 other options. Could this be clarified?

I have a Spartan(modded) and I’ve flipped it many times, I haven’t had a single electronic failure yet, I recommend checking the batteries if they are good then see if the esc(computer) starts if it doesn’t it’s most likely that, if it does see if the esc connects to the remote, if it doesn’t the radio recover is bad, it’s located in the black box behind the esc, it always gets water in there when you flip and it could be that.

I have a spartan and it hit a pipe at 50 mph so thank god for gorilla tape
