Non-contingent reinforcement means giving a reinforcer on a schedule or a predetermined time with no response contingency in place. If I give my students candy every couple of days for no reason that is non contingent. When there is a reason, it is contingent.
Can you please tell me in more specific terms about satiation and deprivation?

Satiation and deprivation are in reference to receiving too much of something (satiated) or not enough of something (deprived). When you are satiated on something, the value of that item decreases and your motivation goes down. When you are deprived, the value increases, and your motivation goes up.
