Here I am testing the speed range of an electric scooter motor that came out of a Razor E300 electric scooter and giving my thoughts about the motor in general. This motor will be used in a homemade lathe project in the near future. Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe to my channel if you enjoy DIY related content.

Probably! I haven't tried it, but that sounds like a fun project.

Possibly. If it were me, I'd eliminate the wiring and speed controller from the equation and wire the motor directly to the batteries and see if it still stalls out under a load. If not, then you either have some bad/loose wiring or a bad speed controller. Hope that helps!

@@joehorn4650 I'm not sure what the life span of these are. There could be a problem with your speed controller but I'm not sure exactly what is going on with yours. You can buy these motors on eBay and Amazon. Just search for e300 replacement motor 👍

You should put the motor on a longboard and make it an electrical skateboard.

You can use something like this to mount a wheel to and attach the coupler to the motor: www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFW8XKF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_vk23FbATM1MDG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
