Razor Clams on the Oregon Coast

Harvesting razor clams during a beautiful morning on the central Oregon coast. Oregon razor clam limit is 15 per day. I mention 12 in the video. My mistake. Music courtesy of www.bensound.com. Soundtrack "Dreams" by Benjamin Tissot.

so, when you tap your stick into the sand and it makes a divet, do other clammers think that your divet could be a sign of a clam?

I have walked back over an area I have tapped, after a wave washes over and softens the tap mark. I get excited then realize that was me :)

The clamming was in Florence. There are a few decent razor populations along Baker Beach. I also clam Newport North Jetty. I am excited to make a winter clamming video from Newport. I was there on a night time low tide this last winter. Small swell, no wind, huge full moon hovering over the bridge and moonlight flooding the beach. It was so much fun.
