The Razer Blade 16 combines the best of both worlds with the world's first dual-mode mini-LED display. The display can switch between 2 NATIVE resolutions:
UHD+ at 120Hz - great for creators
FHD at 240Hz - great for gamers (or creators who like gaming)
The laptop comes equipped with an NVIDIA® GEFORCE RTX™ 40 SERIES laptop GPU, delivering more graphics power density than any laptop currently on the market!
With 32GB of RAM, plenty of storage for your games or video projects and lots of ports (including an SD card reader), this 16'' laptop has everything you need.
I took the Razer Blade 16 for a long ride, building a complex VFX in Unreal Engine, Blender and After Effects, to see how it would perform in the real world!

I appreciate you taking us through the process of creating that seamless transition from reality to a virtual world. This was an excellent video! - Adaire

Thank you so much for your kind words :D
Gave you a thumbs up bc of that intro! 👍👍 I thought it was straight from Razer themselves 😉 And thanks for showcasing the laptop design well. A lot of reviewers barely show the hardware
Great video man...can't wait for a full tutorial on this type of shot (or a similar shot). Either way...and not sure if we've seen it on camera before, but...ROLAND V-DRUMs alert! 😉🤘

Haha, yeah I used to have an acoustic set but it was driving everyone insane - plus the V-DRUMs allow me to record it straight to my computer via MIDI so it was a win win! Thanks for the comment :D More tutorials will be coming soon!
That is the best intro I have seen in a youtube video so far this year.

I'm still running Blade 2020 but giving it juice with Core X! This looks decent but I often upgrade to a one-year old model when it goes on sale. 😃😃

That’s fair enough :) I’d imagine even the models 1 year out from release still have plenty of power and if you can get them on sale then that sounds like a win to me!

I really wanted to purchase a Razer Blade Mercury edition to match my Samsung Odyssey G8 aluminum monitor, but went with the Alienware X16. Neither the Blade's 4090 vurses the 4080 inside the X16 or better screen was enough for the additional cost. (It's dope tho 👍)
nice video buddy
I know this is a sponsored video but could you share information on how warm the laptop gets when you are not gaming but simply browsing and using it for everyday tasks like KZread, etc? I got the ROG Zephyrus 16 2023 and even right now, other than downloading a game and watching KZread, I am not doing anything else and it gets pretty warm... so I am thinking about returning and getting a Razer if that works better
This laptop in that color is the one i need to get. But why is it so hard to find :(
can you suggest desk top please
Can i buy it Only for 4k 60 fps video editing of my Sony A7 iv Or go for MacBook?
The only video showing the Mercury razer blade 16. Love it ❤ . Please do a comparison video with the MacBook pro 16

I know this is super off-topic, but what watch band is that? It's awesome! Great video, very informative!

Thanks for the comment! I love the colours of this watch band. It's called "40-mm Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop" but I'm not sure they make it any more
Damn. Why'd they have to stop with the white keyboard? That made them look soo good. Its one of the main reasons i have my current 2019 mercury blade 15

Would have loved a white keyboard! I do like how strong the lighting stands out though with the dark keys and - if you see my studio - I kinda like dark 😅
I have the RB 16 with 4090 and my screen colors are too saturated any tip on how to fix it......thanks

Check if you have HDR enabled - which is only useful when you’re actively viewing HDR content :)

I had the same problem, plus the problem of the white bleeding on everything else... The problem comes from the mini-led technology of the screen, the backlight is too bright. I sent it back and got a refund...

Have you had any issues with mini led glowing while doing work? I love the idea of great HDR but read it's great for movies and games but not so much for other tasks
Been wanting a Mercury White Blade to upgrade from my Razer Blade Studio for quite some time but I am disappointed that the screen is now matte. Why give up the 4k OLED glass touchscreen for an inferior matte display that can't even do 4K (though dual mode functionality is nice)? I hope a future AMD version comes with the glossy panel! Ok enough complaining, this video was put together very well. The VFX was superb and the breakdown was quite easy to follow!

There are a lot of people who prefer a matte screen than a shiny one, which is so annoying because it reflects light, I prefer such a screen to all the shiny OLED

I've had an experience of owning Razer blade 15 laptop for last 2 years and 4 months. Here's how it went 1. Within 7-8 months of purchase the L key stopped working 2. Within 1year and 5-8 months, I gradually started realizing that for some reason, my laptop is deforming! I was wondering why!! 3. Just last week, I saw that a part of the back-pane of my laptop is wide open and battery is swollen, pressurizing the back-pane. I bought the laptop listening to "KZread influencers". Learning: You decide, make mistakes and blame yourself. DO NOT waste time here!

I'm sorry to hear you had such a negative experience! The problem isn't listening to influencers - it's listening ONLY to influencers. Everyone's experience is just one data point and I'm just glad that mine has been very positive so far. But you need to read a lot of reviews / opinions / thoughts from across the web to form a good base to make your decision from - especially if it's something you're going to spend a lot of money on. And even something with high ratings can go bad on you, I've had the battery issue with a couple of my phones now, all highly rated - apparently it's related to leaving the device plugged in and charged all the time.
Just be careful with those batteries. It's common for Razer to have bloated battery. My Razer Blade Stealth right now has bloated battery.

Seems quite common with small battery sizes and heat. I’ve had another non Razer laptop have the issue and I’ve seen it quite a bit on some (to be fair, older) MacBooks

Not exclusive to razer but they now have 2 years battery warranty and battery safety features to limit battery so should be fine if you're not an idiot
Down side is it comes with an Intel processor.
they should put the amd x3d chip in this one.
Try the new Alienware M18...better videocard, bigger screen, more hard drives, better memory at the same price as this Razer.

Hm, for me only the lower spec version (RTX 4070, only QHD+ display, slower RAM, same storage, etc) comes in at the same price - though there might be some USD/AUD conversion going on. Also, you're losing the portable part of the laptop it seems. The Alienware M18 is 4kg + power brick?

@@MirceaGoiawell this video is for a 16 not an 18, which isn't border line desktop replacement.
I bought it and sent it back... The screen is a mini-led technology which actually sucks, the backlight is not on point and the color white is bleeding on everything else... For such a pricy computer it's not acceptable! Too bad because everything else was good.
I really love the mercury finish, it looks so much like a mac

I personally really like big Trackpads. The one on the MacBook Pro is still my favourite but this one is pretty good (only issue I have is sometimes it doesn’t reject my palm as expected)
