Upgrading my @razer Blade 16 Mercury Edition to MAX RAM + adding a NEW SSD! It's super easy whether you own a Razer laptop or another device. Here's how!

I do a lot of heavy creative work. I spend a lot of time in After Effects, Blender, Unreal Engine, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and loads of other RAM intense applications.
So I decided to MAX OUT my RAM to 64GB DDR5 SODIMM 5600Mhz RAM. The process is pretty easy - and you're still covered by the Razer Warranty as long as you don't break any components in the process.
I also decided to add an ADDITIONAL SSD to the laptop to allow me to store a lot of my media files, stock footage and data. Again, this is really easy to do! Just note that for the Razer Blade 16 your SSDs need to be single-sided (chips only on one side) to fit the narrow dual SSD slot.

Thanks! The 1TB is a little low for me. I love the idea of upgrading. Never had two drives in a laptop. Would love to hear from you how you organize the two drives and what you keep on one vs the other!

hey, what is the original vendor for the razer blade 16 ram? i didnt get an answer from razer support, can you please tell me?
How do you remove the heatsink between the SSDs to replace the boot ssd?
what happend if my computer come with 1 slot with 32gb ram and I can upgrade using a second crucial ddr5 5600mhz but with I don't know 16gb for a total of 48gb ram, lose any dual channel privileges or anything like that?

Thanks for the video! I'm wondering, is the original RAM 2x16GB or 1x32GB? If it's 2x16GB could I replace only one of them with a 32GB for a 48GB total or if it's 1x32GB could I just add a second 32GB stick? Would they work together despite being different? Thanks!

It's 2x16GB sticks :) You can see me remove both of them in the video. Unfortunately different RAM sticks don't work well (if at all) together so I wouldn't recommend it. You'd want all sticks to be the same make and model :)

Macbook pro 16 or Razer blade 16 Which one would be better for me? My primary Purpose is Raw 4k 60 fps video editing.. And secondary gaming is not important. And I need something like Portable. That's why i am going for laptop. My Budget is enough. Can I go for Razer blade 4090? Or going for MacBook? Please give me a Suggestion 🙏 Please

MacOS is commonly preferred for creative applications, and has a higher battery life, while the razer blade will probably do better rendering depending on its GPU. Thats just general advice, it will vary by make, model and year. It really all comes down to personal preference, either one should work.

Meanwhile me going back to Windows, Razer Blade 16 2024 specifically because for me MacOS as a creative sucked hard.
Can i add a 4tb and a 2tb crucial p3 plus SSDs since they're both single sided?

As long as they're single sided you should not have any issues :) It's really just a space game for what you can add (up to 4TB on each SSD)

It does have 2 M.2 slots
the fact that both razer & apple charge upwards of £500+ to go from 32gb-64gb & 1tb m.2 -2tb.... This video saves you so much money

razer doesn't sell these models with 64gb ram. don't know where you saw them...
keep BIOS in 1.07 and ram will works on 5600mhz
