I got the 2019 advanced model. To be honest i was a bit skeptical when watching review about the "rogue" function key. But after I saw the Hypershift Configuration in Razer Synapse app, it turned out to be really convenient for me. Some call it design flaw, I call it "Extra Funnctionality".

He said they fixed it, I say they ruin it. I would rather a inverted T arrow in my keyboard than those half size arrows. And that right Shift key that has the size of the moon WTF.
Got mine to replace my old Razer blade 14 from 2015 and I can say It it quit perfect for me - Beautiful 144hz screen - Simple prenium design - Good audio powered by Dolby - Good battery life to work outside ( ~5h ) - Powerful enough to run all my games at 120fps minimum - The temperature is about ~75 when I’m playing, it’s good compared to my old Razer with ~85 I think if you are looking for something powerful with a good battery life and portability, this is the right choice, it is worth the price.

I have the 2019 Razer Blade, and honestly I enjoy the full-sized up and down arrow keys that it has. I never really use the right shift key so I would rather have bigger arrow keys

Okay, so I've been looking at plenty of reviews on the Razer blade 15 advanced model (2020). I plan on using it primarily for rift CV1 sessions. My only concern is the amount of USB ports I need, like 3 for the headset, and another 1 for a xbox gamepad. Also refresh rate may have to be high for the rift to run well enough. Still dabbling around, about which one to go for?

Very good review bro👍.
I’m really leaning towards the asus zephyrus g14 because it’s faster than the razer blade, but I heard rumors that it has a 14 ms screen response time. Not sure which one to buy now.
Hurray! 👏👏 Finally a Blade 15 (2020 Ed) review. After a dearth of information since they released the new version on some KZreadrs weeks ago, finally Unlockr delivered! with the mini DisplayPort gone, is the thunderbolt 3 port tied internally to the dedicated NVIDIA card or the integrated one? (nvidia control panel shows this under PhysX settings, when plugging in a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter). This is the most important question for people with Oculus Rift S VR headsets.

U can always save up a lil $ and put that down on it so then ur monthly payments wouldn't be bad. Next time i need a labtop (years from now) I may go that route. Sucks when u drop $1,500 on brand new labtop then watch reviews on what people who had $3,000 to spend ended up getting.

is the power button kinda smooshy? I have the first gen 15 and I have to make sure I push it directly in the center for it the work.
i have a question about Razer laptops if you don't mind answering I need something light and powerful enough to play games (MapleStory , League of legends, Apex legends) while also having the battery life to last all day (6-8 hours minimum) also preferably having a split screen mode that I can actually use (like two chrome tabs side by side one running google docs) what would you recommend for a light/casual gamer who spends the majority of the time studying on campus a Razer Stealth or a Razer Blade 15?
Thank you man !!!
Awesome review! really good to see that the new model can be charged via USB-C, this is so annoying not to have on the 2019 model, is this upgrade from hardware or can this be added via software to the 2019 model?

about the usb c charging. i have a macbook pro charger and it did not work.. what did you use in order for it to work
Great video. Good device, but it's amazing to me that a $2500+ device can't stick a 1080P webcam with studio mics into it. I know it's a gaming laptop, but still, it deserves premium parts in a premium device.
@altairferoli

Laptop manufacturers wont make the entire screen thicker to fit better sensors, and there cant be a camera bump either, and also, we should always keep in mind that a laptop that checks all boxes, will be priced far higher than the competition, and Razer already prices their laptops high
Can the USB c charge work on 2019 advanced model with a 90w portable charger ? Or i need something lower .
Just got my first Razer few days ago. 2020 Razer Blade 15 with the 1660Ti and i7 10750H 6 Core and 144hz. Super AMAZED by the performance of this machine - it rivals my built desktop and I even returned my 15" macbook pro for this. In love.

Great review! It's pitty you didn't have the chance to try the OLED version in which I would be much more interested. However, please try to normalize your sound in your next videos. Sometimes it is dificult to understand what you are saying and a second later the audio is way too loud.
I am definitely getting this Is there any problems
Whats the power supply on the GPU? Is it 2080 super max-q with 90w or 80w? and the response time?
I'd love a comparison to the Pro 17! Currently deciding on which to buy.

Unless you're doing very heavy work, the blade 17 is kind of overkill in terms of performance, and its also much bigger and heavier. I would say a blade 15 would be more than enough but i dont have any knowledge on what youplan to use your blade for
Hi sir appreciate your review. No doubt Razer Blade Pro is one of the best (if not the best gaming laptop). Performance wise it is top notch. The real concern is its durability. A lot of complaints about defects and hardware issues mostly after a year - i.e. once the warranty expired. Appreciate your advice.
what do you think about the model with 2060 a 144hz display ? I think have a good price about 2000
Is it true that the AC Charger (when you plug the cable to the laptop port) will block the other ports (like the Type A USB 3.2 gen 2 port)? Please let me know. Thank you guys!
It's a good walkthrough. Just wish you had cover more of the GPU whether it's the 80w or 90w variant, the quality of the 300hz, and finally the biggest thing that was fixed especially for an a expensive gaming machine is the ability to change the Perfomance option to use DGPU only and not be stuck with IGPU and optimus. That alone make this laptop more of a beast compared to its predecessors.
Good review

I bought the Razer pro 17 2020 4K and also bought Crucial Ballistix SODIMM 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Gaming Memory ......after instillation i can only see 2666 speed ....any suggestions ?
Can you make a comparison video of it with the old Mid 19 Advanced version and Razer Blade Studio 15?
Aaaaaahhhh yessssss that shift key! Finallllly!
This is the perfect laptop, change my mind
Is the charger able to be used on both ends?
Sorry, it's usb C port on the left side of the blade can be charged with a 65w usb C charger but how come some reviewers online said it was a 100w usb C charger.. I'm confused.. can anyone clarify this ? tried checking the razer official website specs of the blade 15 advanced model, it only says 20V but not the wattage..
can the keyboard and palm rest be easily covered with fingerprint marks and sweat?
How are the thermals with long gaming/demanding tasks?
Can you take out the battery?
Did this laptop give a blue screen or freezes by using it in a long term ?
Time for a decision to buy or not. Thank you for this video ;)

Using Razer Blade 15 Advanced Mid 2019 fully upgraded model and its beast when plugged it but its performance is ridiculously annoying when unplugged even on best performance mode.
Bought this. I love it, it _screams_ through pretty much everything I throw at it, but when gaming man alive does it get HOT (2080 Super version). I play with a fan constantly blowing on it while having the bottom unobstructed. The temps have me a bit concerned that its lifespan with be affected, but I bought the three year comprehensive warranty alongside it. If you're going to splurge on one of these puppies, best to splurge to protect it. All in all though, so far so good and I'm a very happy customer. Great to have DT power in bed, and I especially love how this laptop's design is very innocuous. It looks like any old plain laptop, you'd never guess what a beast this machine is just by looking at it. And it is a beast.

I had a 2019 rb15 advanced model and the laptop was nearly perfect even without the 2020 tweaks. However... the 230w charger died on me TWICE in the first 3 months. Only the battery that came with the laptop was replaced by Razer the second one I had to eat the 150$ I spent. I’d also like to mention the cooling was awful. So loud and so hot. I watched this video mostly to hear if there were any improvements in that area and you skipped it entirely. When my rb15 wasn’t using its power cable the functionality and gaming were also awful. Overall it was the most beautiful, expensive, paperweight I had ever had. Razer support is dead last. I could rant about their poor performance until you did your next 2021 rb15 video and i wouldn’t run out of complaints. I paid over 3k and ended up selling it for less than 2k. I owned a Razer product for six months and it couldn’t even turn on for nearly 2 of those 6 months.... haven’t said all that I would still love to see a video do you testing the fan noise and heat while gaming at high settings.
