I work behing a desk (graphic design) and i love my music. I have been using the Razer Kaira Pro BT(the PS5 pro version) im debating on picking these up. Whats your opinion on the sound for Music and moveis?

From my understanding while visiting the Razer store, these headsets are designed to fold up purposely while you're still wearing them around your neck, so you can still listen to music instead of facing down.

Hi! Thank you for watching too. With ANC, the additional immersion in gaming comes from shutting out outside noises so that the only sounds that you hear are from in-game. With the Barracuda Pro, that is one of the strengths of this headset on-top of it's low latency. I haven't really played Witcher 3 with this, but did play God of War with these, and it was great. But overall, if you already game in your own private space without much outside distracting noises, like kids/wives/neighbors, then a normal headset without would do just as well. Hope this helps 😉

I have had mine for about six months I’d say I have had no issues and love them very underrated

Hi Nicorette! I measured the mid-point of the arm rest to the other mid-point. Though, there is some additional slack that you can get by adjusting the screws underneath each armrest as well.

How are the ANC of these headphones in airplanes? Do you they would be good to wear on long flights to block out sound?

Hi Ahmed! The ANC is sufficient to block out most of the constant engine whine on a plane at level 6 and above, but there are better ANC headphones such as Sony’s and Bose QC series.

How do you make these sound like HD600 please? i'm getting these soon and i hope i won't go back to AKG NC700M2.. I might because they're soooo cheap and apparently sound the same as Mark Levinson £800 headphone and have the best bluetooth harmon curve tuning but wired mode they lack the oomp (wired on+ANC on). I really need to experience THX over bluetooth/2.4ghz that's going to be so immersive and perfect for trance music i hope it doesn't drown vocals because some mixing/masters can be really rough with this genre. (BTW you answered my burning question about built in THX DSP so i think only the original opus and the Pro has it the X doesn't have THX/dsp amp correct? or they all have the THX/DSP Amp but Pro sounds different due to biocellulose drivers difference?)?? oh nvm you concluded it at the end i kinda need it for MUSIC + game but i need immersiveness so Pro it is for now if the MIC sucks really bad then ill try the Barracuda X but i don't use chat that often, so again i must try the Pro first. Subbed :) amaizing review and also the editing making your gf/wife fade away as the ANC kicks in lmao.

Hi Project Pewgf! Firstly, thank you for taking the time to write a long feedback. Truly appreciated! As for getting the PRO to sound like HD600, it is a lot easier as the drivers respond better to EQ tuning and I was able to get a neutral-ish mid and highs sound signature with a touch of bass. (Though this is how I prefer my audio, so you might need to play around the EQ with your favorite song to find how you like it). I can share with you the EQ settings from Synapse in a couple of days after I get back home. Overall, if you have the opportunity to try it out before you buy, it would be recommended, but if not, you could always tune it a bit. 😉

i had kingston hiper x cloud 2 ears heart after 1-2 hours,sold,have razer kraken 7.1 v2,ears hurting,on sale,now on razer black shark v2 best of all 3,less hurting,i first look comfort over audio,now wont to switch to wirelles gaming headset,Is it barracuda pro worth over barracuda??not x,or something else,i have all razer keyboard/mouse so wont to stay on razer if worthly/posibly,just for gaming,and ocasionaly youtube music,i dont play co/op online fps i play alone,so i dont need mic,when i buy headset i imediatly detach mic,would not spend over 200 euro for wirelles gaming headset 150 euro or less.

Can these connect to the switch via bluetooth or do you have to use the dongle?

Hi Chozo! Yup, the latest version of the Barracuda X will come with Bluetooth and for the same price as the first edition. A quick way to tell the difference is the 2.4GhZ dongle, the new one with Bluetooth will have the USB C off-center like in the video 😀

If you really want the Bluetooth function, then it would be worth it. Otherwise, performance for both are near identical, and it won’t be worth the trouble 😆

Hi @Vovanenko! "Officially" you cannot as Xbox only uses their own wireless protocol. But with the use of third party bluetooth dongle, you can connect to it. Though there might be some audio delay depending on the dongle.
