kWETU is a Swahili word which means OUR HOME. So the narrative behind this video song is about a boy with his rich girlfriend who wants to go and visit this boy's home street/town! The first scene was the argument about the girl's desire to know more about the boy's home! So the boy was insisting that his home streets are not pleasant for a rich girl like her. Then he decided to show her the place! As you can see the streets are poorly planned, exposed toilets, a lot of thieves, drug addicts, garbages everywhere, No safety, poor living conditions. BUT it seems the girl still loves my boy despite the fact that his HOME or background is/was in a poor condition aka Inner cities/ghetto. And most rich people don't want to be associated with those people from those areas. At the end LOVE Conquers All! Hopefully , I helped translated it a little bit, enjoy the song

My mother was born in Tanzania and she left it when she was 6 years old. We aren't from Tanzania and the last time I visited it, it felt like HOME. My mom speaks a little Swahili and for no reason I feel like it's my mother tongue. The song is amazing and I don't remember how many times I repeated it.. Great job.

Bruno, Ranjeev and Dageniusbeats. Am Kenyan and Swahili is an East African language so I'll summarize for you the story. Basically at the Begining of the Video they are Arguing cz in the past, the Girl has always been telling the guy to takes her to his actual home and meet his people but the Guy has always refused saying she always doesn't understand/get him so it turns in to an argument but eventually he gives in..... Reason Being, he's not lived the lavish life she thinks, he's been brought up in the slums (where they go now) and he's telling her, there (slums), people wash their clothes and watch them as they dry rest they get stolen (guy stealing them from the lines), sometime people have to remove their shoes cz the roads are impassible (her removing her shoes), people get jacked anyhowly (Lady being jacked her handbag),there are no shower ( guy showering outside) etc..... basically its the contrast that the rich have with those living in slums.... and eventually the girl is okey with it so they are happily dancing and celebrating with his people.(Final Part). GOT IT YOU'ALL???? HIT LIKE IF YOU HAVE.

I'm from Serbia, and this song is so sweet. And on another hand I felt some feelings about how some poor people actually have rich soul. I always can conclude it from dancing emotions. Especial from african dencing. Big love to African people. I hope that entire world will find out one day that we are one global being. :)
