Every other league gets their highlights out in about an hour. The MLB has always taken over three to get theirs done.

Both of those strikes in the 2nd were high balls that were so clearly framed. Ump needs glasses

Amazing how an umpire can be fooled by the catcher. I wonder if umpires watch replays of the games to critique how they did?

when lopez is pitching to jeffers, in 7 starts he’s pitched to a 3.76 era when pitching to vazquez he’s pitched to a 7.55 era (!!!) in 8 starts

I'm getting more convinced that sports are rigged after whatever type of effort you wanna say Correa gave on that pop fly up the line. He literally pulled his glove away from the ball....

Lopez is killing the Twins. I think you gotta shut him down. Triple A might help Lopez get his stuff back because as of now he just hasn’t got it. We’ve had 3 guys at least that were here last year just get sent down and I think they aren’t doing Lopez any favors keeping him up here. Let him go down and figure it out but I think because he’s a pitcher and not a hitter you might have to shut him down period. If the league has figured out that sweeping fastball of his he’s done using that pitch. I don’t think a pitcher figures that out in a week or two and more likely an off season. It’s one thing if he’s not locating it where he wants but from where I’m sitting it looks like they did the film work on Lopez and now he’s essentially eliminated as effective. Send him down get someone that can be effective if the Twins plan on making any kind of run. That’s the optimistic take the realistic take is Lopez is done and because of that the Twins would have to overpay for a number one starter and honestly I don’t think Pohlad will make any major moves before the trade deadline unless he can get a for sure thing and if he realistically thinks his team can compete against New York 😏🤣 , Cleveland 😩 or Baltimore 😭. It’s evident we can feast on the bad teams but we are just as bad against the good teams as the bad teams are against us. It’s up to Pohlad in the end. Does he spend a little money and some draft capital knowing we’re 0-14 against the teams I mentioned??? Funny Wallner wasn’t hurt and they sent him down. Edward Julian wasn’t hurt and they sent him down. Should I go on? I don’t think you know how this works. You can be sent down twice in a year before you’re out of options and you don’t have to be injured. Any of you actually looked at the league rules instead of listening to your local neighborhood podcaster you might not be so pumped up in your shitheadedness. I can offer proof but I’m afraid this particular page is censoring me but there are players that were sent down that weren’t hurt like Austin Martin among a few others.

lmao someone doesn’t know how this works. the only way they can “send” him to the minors is by a rehab assignment, and he needs to be injured for that to happen

Lopez is a chump. Can he be sent to the minors? He is the worst pitcher on the staff. He throws the ball right over the heart of the plate. They need to sit this lad down and explain things to him.

A player can be optioned twice in a year and doesn’t have to be a injury assignment. I don’t know where people are getting this but I just checked the rules on optioning and yes you can go down twice in a year before optioning is not an option. It’s clear in the MLB contract and rules. Someone said you had to have been injured and that’s not true. Wallner wasn’t injured and sent to Triple A. Austin Martin wasn’t injured and they sent him down. Ed Julian got sent down and he wasn’t injured. I named three guys that got sent down and weren’t injured. You can’t just say he’s out of options please provide his contract or the douchenozzle that you heard say he can’t be optioned. I scoured the internet for Lopez’s no option this year and it’s not there but I did find the rules on optioning and they’re pretty liberal. The whole idea of sending someone down to Triple A is to work out the kinks in your delivery as a pitcher or make adjustments to your hitting mechanics if you’re a hitter.
