I have the same error as the OP. Great tip but to test your theory I unplugged the thermal fuse to simulate a blown fuse. Completely different error code "ROL" plus "service required" error.

Had the same issue. I replaced the older board and that older version had the low volt automation hooked up to the fireman's switch. With the new style board you can't do that, it has to be hooked up to spa/24v wires. Its a plug that has a black/blue/orange wire coming off of it

Hi, I found your video because I had the same issue with my swimming pool heater. I figured out what my issue was and maybe you'll find this helpful. I have a swimming pool with the heater and I have a control panel to run all of the equipment, filter, heater, lights, chlorinator, etc. What I came to find is that the schedule to run my filter is between 6 am and 6 pm. But it was at about 7:00 pm and I decided I wanted to turn up the heat. The filter was running but it was because I had the 2nd schedule for chlorinator on to hyperchlorinate. So the filter was running but because the chlorinator was set to run for 24 hours, not because we were within the scheduled 6am to 6pm window. Well, it was about 7 pm and I decided to turn up the heater on the pool. When I did, it did not fire up and begin heating. I had the message Clock/Fireman SW. I found that if I turned the filter on manually by hitting the "F" button, the heater fired up. So, I think the error message was very literal. It was not on because it was outside of the "clock" hours. It was not scheduled to be running even though the filter was on. I hope this helps.

Stacey, you're not doing any troubleshooting. You're just wasting everyone's time, while you show us your not-working heater and complain about it. Please re-title as "Stacey complaining about his pool heater and wondering out loud why it doesn't work".

Did you ever solve this issue? I just replaced the board in my heater and I’m getting the same error code.

I ultimately figured this out. Had to replace the switch and right now I have it dangling out of the heater, but I can toggle it on off.
