Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa || Rayong Hotel
Stayed in Rayong Marriott Resort and Spa for a few nights because we were in town and they offered a reasonable rate.
The room was great, food was excellent but it just didn’t feel like a full Marriott. This is my least favorite Marriott in Thailand.
I’m used to being able to communicate well with people from Marriott hotels but it was a significant challenge here.
Overall I think I would book again but I will wait until everything is fully reopened. The walk around the hotel property was just sad because of the closed and unkept facilities.

I've been there 5 days in 2019., very very nice hotel, beautiful city. We will be there again this year, cant' wait.

Been there before, the pool and beach water are murky because it's the rainy season. Try going in Jan-April, the pool would be more blue as would the ocean/gulf water

Main pool was not that color when we were there las month. It was well cleaned.

That’s really informative 👍🏽. I only came across this hotel in my Google maps, when I was looking at the places far south of Pattaya and Na Jomtien. This Marriott, as you said, didn’t seem like it had that full experience for the customer. Fishbar- needs to be cleaned up, the main pool- TOTAL overhaul, Shark tank? Either set them free or clean their enclosure!🤦🏾♀️ it’s has so much to offer this resort! Yet it’s lacking a HUGE amount. I get that they are understaffed, but during this time, most hotels have undergone renovations, and done work to improve their property. This one? They kinda forgot all about it sadly 😔. This is one to note, that’s for sure.

It was a sad looking Marriott. The only reason i booked it was because i was already in Rayong and the price was really cheap (this was a week after the hotel reopened). I think if anyone has status with Marriott and wants a weekend away from Bangkok, Marriott HuaHin is wayyyy better.

@@goanywhere537 i agree with you. It really looked sorry full 😔. It was so blah! Lacked so much life! Even your review of the Holiday Inn and suites in Rayong city centre had more life🤩! I’ll check out the Marriott in Hua Hin (have you done a review on that one?😃) I will keep it mind that one! It’s a shame that this Marriott had gone downhill.
Just went there few weeks ago. It was the worst Marriott I have ever gone too. In their defense they still haven’t recovered from the pandemic but definitely not what I was expecting

My family go there in October our second time. That time the pool look dirty and kids can’t swim in kids pool because no cleaning and very dirty. Many parts of hotel is closed and room service very slow 😭

Sorry to hear about your experience. I was there October too and I think they just reopened from being shut. Am sure Marriott Rayong will be a good destination again, maybe next year? 🤷♀️
