Always preferred Origins. Looks more unique, Rayman stands out more from the background and is more colourful.

I always hated how Origin's low hit was replaced by an immediate stomp in Legends and also the spin-slide attack's input combo was chaged

I see what ya mean, but legends Definetly has much higher quality visuals with shading and such. But I do agree that Origins Rayman stood out more from the background

i always thought rayman stood out much more in origins.. legends has a blurry look to it.. it took a while for me to get used to it.. i realized what they did was try to give it a realistic lighting and i can't say it worked in the game's benefit.. but overall i choose legends over origins.. for years i chose origins over legends.. but at some point the internet stopped working at my apartment and all i could do was play games and i sat and played legends and it ended up becoming my favorite of the two primarily because of the creativity, variety, length, and also i like that i didn't have to hear that mariachi music anymore

I Recently just got a PS3 and i bought both Rayman Origins and Rayman legends and also play both of them. so which one do i prefer ? ... Rayman legends

I prefer rayman origins because the graphics look more satisfying then legends, legends lighting is just a bit bright with characters in origins you can see more details on the character I know there isn’t that much characters in origins but atleast every of those characters are fun to play the battling in origins is also satisfying the sound effects even the charged punch the charged punch goes slow in origins but it makes it seem menacing towards to enemies cus you already know charging up that much can impact a lot of power on the enemy and I think origins has more levels then legends origins haves about 11 worlds legends as 6 for normal story mode sure legends has back to origins but it takes away some of the hard obstacles in the levels and most of the origins levels I wish I could have played again but I sadly can’t unlike legends origins is actually difficult and legends is just a bit easier (also another thing about origins I miss the sweeping attack when you hold down and attack in legends it’s just a mini ground pound and the sounds of attacking in origins that one sound where you use the charged attacks and hit a enemy with it also the bubblized enemies that are in origins we’re funny but in legends they only appear for 1 second after the enemies death and you don’t get to pop it)

Rayman legends art style just feels boring and doesn’t really put me in the feel that origins does.

Rayman’s origin design makes him look like he came out of 2000s cartoon, while his legends design makes him look like he came out of a live action movie with cartoons in it (Like with Looney Tunes Back In Action)

Origins graphics looks better to me, I always though Legends appeared kind of odd

In Rayman Origins Rayman looks more cartoon then in legends. He has these classic black lines on his body in Origins. Legends is a different story. He doesn’t have them here so I don’t get the funny cartoon feeling like in Origins. But at the end of the day I would’ve choose Origins.

I feel like origins has better music plus more unique level's

Legends is bigger, longer, more detailed and probably better on paper. But somehow Origins felt faster, more intense and more fun. Both are incredible regardless.

@@ChickenMcKicken I think it was the aspect ratio, it was much more zoomed in and so felt more chaotic. Legends had a more spacious, nicer looking viewpoint but that slowed the gameplay down a bit

Both games are great quality👍 I prefer Rayman origins personally because the levels feel more connected with the map level selection and it's more challenging although legends has more content, both of them are very enjoyable.

Ive played legends but never played orgins but gameplay seems similar. The art style is very different in each game but I don't think I could decide between the 2. They are both good in their own ways. Not sure if it's worth me getting origins tho as I can do the levels from it in legends. (Ik they aren't the exact same but still)

Even though I usually like cel shading more the smoothness of rayman in legends is better for me

I love Rayman in general, but In my opinion Legends is the best around. 🤩🤩

I love origins and perfer it's worlds and levels over legends, but not by a lot. I liked the legends artstyle because of its high graphics and how it blends in more. That's why I wish origins got a full remake in legends instead of taking out so many things from it.

Don’t get me wrong. Legends design is great! Especially the background, but I prefer origins better on the characters. I like how they stand out from the background

I played both. Id say legends looks better but origins looks unique. I just don't agree with the E10 rating on origins because it's a little inappropriate at times. Like the nymphs for example. Maybe T rated at earliest.

Rayman Origins is NOT a T game, it's probably the most E10+ game I've ever played. Skimpy dresses are not something that earns a game a T.

Both are great games

i like them equally, that's why i'm getting both games for ps3

Origins was better to me :) loved the artstyle for it better it made Rayman stand out more

i think rayman legends worlds are the ones from origins like they are very similiar

I think Origins looks so much better. Especially on the small Vita OLED screen. It just has a more colorful looking sharp hand drawn look to it.

If it weren't for 5 player co-op then Origins would be my favorite, but the chaotic nature of it just barely manages to give it a leg up. Atleast for me, though Origins unique aesthetic can never be beaten.

There's no 5-player co-op in Origins, just 4-player. Legends has the 5-player co-op.

I prefer Rayman Origins... It was on 60FPS for PS3. Just amazing. Because of the graphics, Rayman Legends was on 30FPS for PS3. But it's playable and fun to play.^^ And Rayman Origins is so nostalgic. Getting 60FPS game for PS3 was just amazing. Rayman Origins is one of the only games which have 60FPS in PS3. RAYMAN ORIGINS IS ACTUALLY THE WINNER! (Are you ok with me..?)

Origins is more difficult. Besides, Legends has oversaturated looks/art style, lacks integrity, has worse plot, has a bad final level, and has too many unnecessary mechanics like Murphy levels and online stuff.
