Rayman Legends Weekly Challenge 3-9/8/15 - LotLD - 32.96km (full run)

Finally, my capture card is wired up again and the good quality videos can resume! On my channel I have got a few videos where I show me getting 33+km on this challenge, and even results of over 34km (one of which is the PSN WR :D ), but what was missing was a full run starting from 0m all the way to the glitched brick... so, here it is.
MepH-66, currently first in this challenge with 33.26km managed to get past the glitched wall where I got stuck... before I had a break about a month ago, glitches were stopping me and rayman5326 from beating each other's scores (it went both ways, he won Infinite Tower and I won LotLD), so I told MepH that the glitches are inconsistent in this game... but he said he'd done programming for 4 years, and that glitches should not be random for different players, rather they will all the at the same point, so apparently we have been skipping glitched walls before without even realizing. He thinks this likely jumping a bit before we hit the wall, which I quite often do when bouncing off those walls, however, probably not here, and the glitch actually got me totally by surprise. I didn't even realize I was on such a score and I was hardly even paying attention.
There is one particular obstacle sequence in this challenge I used to absolutely despire more than anything else in Rayman, however, I've actually changed what I'm doing and it seemed to go quite well. There is also one part of the video where I thought I was possibly going to die, and had this been an extreme challenge, I would've done. I'm not quite sure how I managed to do what I did... I think it was a strange lack of decision. Good job to anyone who can find what part of the video I'm talking about. ;)
Once again, it's extremely nice to be able to record again, and these kind of videos on the other challenges is what I'll probably be doing... as well as some other videos, not just from Rayman...

How is it even possible to maintain that amount of focus for 40 minutes.

What capture card btw? I personally use Avermedia II on PS3 :) And other question any idea how much Rayman Legends costs for PS3?

MrxShadowz I'm using Elgato Capture Card... worked great when this video was recorded but today, for the strangest reasons I haven't been able to get any signal which is extremely annoying, no matter what I've tried doing... I'm going to get someone to look at it next week. As I've already bought Rayman Legends on PS3 I don't know how much it costs, though at the time I think it was only about £6, though before it was about £20 - there might have been a sale or something... I'd also just missed a PS Plus discount for Rayman Origins. I saw you can get the bundle of Origins & Legends for £19.99. Try looking for Rayman in PlayStation Store next time you're on PS3, I can't find the prices.

Amazing. How is it possible to avoid dying for nearly 40 minutes? Very impressive! I myself usually get silver or gold trophies on challenges, if that.

V336RAY Hello, and thanks. Not sure why KZread isn't notifying me about new comments anymore. For all distance challenges you have to learn how to get past every obstacle, and after that, it's being consistent.

You don't want to be referred to as the 1000m master - that's a silver cup in many challenges. Keep practising, learning the patterns and you can get a lot further.
Does MepH-66 still play Rayman on PS3?

Amazing stuff, but is this your only game that you have/play? I'm guessing yes and I bet your gamerscore is low, like most of the gamers that top the leaderboard for this game, cause it's one of only a few they play.

power dragon01 Oui. Considérant ceci est seulement 32,96 kilomètres, si vous deviez aller 34 km il serait sans doute un peu plus de 40 ... également en fonction de la façon dont vous y allez. Je suis probablement plus lente que la plupart des gens dans l'obstacle du vent. Désolé pour mon mauvais français, en utilisant Google Translate.

That's the case with most new players, you are probably not familiar enough with the obstacles. 30km is not much harder than 5km.
