It's just crazy how you build everything from the ground up!! just amazing. I really hope one day we all get to play it, Rayman 3 had been one of my greatest childhood games that I re-played nonstop. Goodluck to you man

The most notable game I worked on was "the medium". A side from that a couple smaller not very successful projects

love seeing the process, however the lights should be slightly tinted green right? the original seems to have more vibrant and saturated lighting as well (the windows too). or was it a choice to make them white, or due to a filter that is going to be used later on?

Basically after trying a couple different colors I decided to settle for a warm white color. Nothing is final though :)
this looks absolutely amazing man! i do have one thing i was interested in asking about though. imo the moons might be a bit too bright compared to the original(?) there’s a pretty big lack of shadows, and it makes it hard to discern where the light source is coming from. it certainly makes them stand out more. also i noticed that they’re kinda hanging pretty closely behind the fairy council, which makes them seem quite small. just a couple comments, but of course this could all be intentional too :) good job!!

Thanks a lot! I made the moons be in a bright full moon configuration as an artistic choice. it just made me feel like it reinforced the fairy tale aesthetic I'm trying to go for. Also the idea is that the moons themselves are the light source so I tried to somewhat match how bright a full moon is on earth. As for them feeling small because they are so close, yea I agree I probably should put them further away. Thanks again for the comment

thanks for the recap, how did you learn substance painter, which course or way you recommend to learn it, also why the logo of the app looks red isn't it green

Hey, I personally used the videos that are on the official substance painter KZread channel :) the logo is Red because I'm using an old 2020 version of the software that I bought on steam

I hope the terrain model are low poly not a raw zbrush export.
