Exactly!!!! I didn’t hear anything off beat or “slowed down” here, I was genuinely confused at what the comments are talking about. I just hear incredible vocals, and the rap at the end was the perfect cherry on top. It conveyed the essence of the song even better than the studio version.

Wow, I feel like she definitely has a lot more emotion in her music. You can totally feel it, it’s so powerful.

This song describes being a young woman in her 20s who’s lost after heartbreak and questioning her own self worth through reckless behavior, so well. I love the juxtaposition of her singing about being vulnerable and messy and lost but the song and her vocals are so powerful and badass.

I LOVE HER SO MUCH, this is incredible, but she has a tendency to sing behind the beat (to sing slightly slower than the track) and sometimes it adds raw emotion, but sometimes I feel it can be reigned in a bit. Overall, shes coming out with the best pop music at the moment and her voice is incredible

Omg I thought I was the only one bothered by this! This is the second live performance of this banger song I head and this thing bothers me in both, so much so that I like the original version better. I think it hits so hard cause it delivers so many great lines back to back on that crazy beat. I felt like she was breathless too in this performance, idk? I hope she stops doing this THROUGHOUT the song, at least according to me.

Studio version sounds like timberlake met Linkin Park. I'm glad she is able to do showcase her voice more here. Absolutely fantastic!

I'm sitting here having a roller coaster of thoughts. My first impression was that she actually can't sing like the studio makes her sound but then her vocals hit and I was like that's not it. At a point, she changes registers roughly so I'm only assuming that either she was nervous/excited/intoxicated or she isn't used to singing with accompaniment. Non the less her voice is very powerful in terms of gene material (super rich and kind of dark).

I think it was an intentional stylistic choice. Holding onto notes a beat longer makes it seem more raw and emphatic in a way
