Levan can’t touch his elbows together and has never shown a good press. I’m sure Devon isn’t worried. If Levan is having to flop, he’s in big trouble.

Ehh Levans press is nowhere near Genadi’s. If Levan wins it will be because he dominates outside. Nothing to do with anything else. Basically it all comes down to whose wrist and pronation is better imo

It's not a secret. He literally said in an interview with Engin that he was training his press. I love Devon but I really don't think he can win Levan.

Amen to that! Having Devon, John, and others competing at the highest levels at 50 plus has to inspire a lot of people. I’ll be 55 in a week, always worked at and ate healthy, despite decades of admittedly partying pretty hard. I still feel like I’m in my 20’s. Many of the top guys in arm-wresting are proof that age is just a number & you can continue to improve. It’s #%F’kin awesome to see.

Not really depends on the way he wins aka fouls/desperation move allowed by corrupted refs/missi g around too much and refs allow it. But Levan will kill devon if those things won’t happen.

Agree with Jannis, he is correct about Levans ability pulling with wrist bent back, i think he did that againts Vitaly with left arm, which is his less technical arm and he did that againts Revaz in 2018. Also probably many times againts Irakli during practice pulls.

I am a Devon fan and I know he holds the super heavy weight belt but he ignores it because he knows levan is the Pinnacle and won't class himself as number one till he beats him. I hope he does and I hope it's a fight and no injuries occur to either athlete, the size and power of levan is intimidating tho ....

Levan is indeed a physically imposing man. I know that Devon respects his strength and dominance at the table, but I don’t really think Devon is actually intimidated by him.

People should stop saying Devon lost cause he got injured, Devon got injured couse he give all he got and it was not even close. If I try to biceps curl 200kg and blow my biceps no one will say I would curl 200kg but I did not just cause I got injured.

If your maximal bicep curl strength is 30kg, and if you attempt 31kg in an awkward position, you will gonna blow your bicep. The bicep injury doesnt mean that Levan is so strong that he injured Devon, Devon just got in a full on bicep move against the strongest one.

I love when you guys do these breakdowns! Such good info and insight into what happens on the table. I think Levan will most likely win, but as Devon says "If you're 3% weaker and I'm 3% stronger I am going to win". Georgi match showed how much Devon has grown in strength. Devon can't hang in center, but if he stops the match, it's on. might still lose but he will definitely push him to his limits.

Hear me out, I truly believe that Genadi’s win over Devon is the most underrated and disrespected victory in sports. Never seen anything like it where ppl act like it never happened or something. It’s like Tarver beating Roy Jones then it not even getting a mention on Sportscenter.

I hope Levan has learned how to press. In my opinion the ONLY chance Devon has of victory is the full blown desperation move and utilization of his elbow that cant go straight, and Levan needs to be able to press to beat that.

more people on the planet have arm wrestled than any other sport.. a huge promotion like strongman, the arnold, or UFC needs to pick it up. EvW and KOT have done well but we need big money to level up where people can make it a viable profession to dedicate without needing other income. plus the arm wrestlers that already are dedicating their life’s deserve it. back in the 80’s it was pretty big at least with us hillbillies. lol. this match may define the future. will there be a record breaking trilogy or will Levan be on an island forever.. maybe Ermes can get in the conversation again too. like musical chair arm wrestling. i want to see Jerry against Levan too. IMO there’s one lane to beat him.

Plot Twist, Devon mentioned that he knows Levan learned from his mistakes against Ermes, so he wouldn't count on that to happen again. If Devon isn't preparing based on weaknesses Levan showed against Ermes, what else can he do that Ermes didn't?

devon has no chance. its just a bad style match up. Devon doesnt have the backpressure that ermies has.

And even Ermes backpressure was only enough againts tired Levan, because of long 3rd round. In other 3 rounds he pinned Ermes pretty easily. Now he will be 15-20kg lighter and for sure will have better endurance.

He would need Ermes back pressure, at minimum. It doesn’t matter really that Devons hand/wrist may be stronger than Ermes, if his arm can’t stay connected when Levan his smashing backwards/sideways he’s going straight to the pad.

I reckon levan is better than before healthwise stamina and stuff but strength wise? Hmm not sure, has he inproved on the numbers he did pre injury? I still think his previous peak is enough to beat devon IF his stamina can match it.....

If Levan hadn't injured his wrist and was taken out for 1.5 years of competition, things would be clear for me. But now it's 50:50 in my book. Also the thing with stem cells isn't entirely clear: Do you actually need multiple sessions to rebuild an injured structure? Ok, it depends probably on the type and severity of the injury. But has Levans wrist healed and rebuilt completely after one stem cell session? I mean Devon had multiple sessions. Obviously you have to repeat sessions after every wear and tear, because your aged body isn't capable of rejuvenating itself sustainably with one initial stem cell shot i think...

Assuming Devon loses the super heavyweight title; Do you think any other arm wrestler will EVER hold both the super heavy and the heavyweight title at the same time again?

Yeah Devon lost againt Genadi, but he was still progressing then and it was a very close match which all came down to bad refereeing, in my opinion. Seeing how Devon beat Georgie, I think he could beat Genadi hands down now.

Elbow is still not 100% but his elbow has been much worse. He’s never had a healthy elbow.

Why are Georgians so good at armwrestling

I think that if devon can stop levan in the first couple of rounds and wear levan down he might have a chance. Levan's only real weakness is his stamina so I think that is devon's only path to victory.

I don't think Leven is as injured as everyone thinks, nor as weak due to this "injury". I believe Leven is probably 95%-99%. Very few armwrestlers are ever 100%. Even if they are not "injured" they carry a lot of wear n tear into most matches. I'm rooting for Devon but I think the only way he can win is if her gasses Leven out by trying to make each pull last as long as possible and then when Leven is gassed out then he can win from pull 3 on because I think a fresh Leven wins the 1st 2 pulls pretty easily.

12:50 That's not really impressive and not really hard for him. At his peak he was curling at least Georgi Tsvetkovs body weight for 3 reps 😂

No fantasy, no fan boy BS just straight up facts and experienced observation. I hope D wins and its a war as there is money watching this fight. Chael is interested and Dana is on the edge of getting involved. If D wins I can imagine Endevor formulating something but if Levan wins its not so appealing without Ds personality driving it. I think D WILL win. I think he has bridged the strength gap enough to stop and bleed.

Nobody with at least half a Brain believes Devon is the second best Super Heavyweight arm wrestler, when Genadi defeated him and many of Devon’s Fake victories were wrongfully called by referees.
