I went to the capital radio jazz festival at Knebworth park I was about sixteen I think. Best day of my life
I was there! Wow! So thrilled to see this. It was the first time I heard Ray sing Oh what a beautiful morning what an fantastic arrangement . Went for both weekends, Dizzy, Carmen, MJQ, sat in our deckchairs with a glass of wine. Happy memories, big thanks for posting.

First Tenor (Highest/Top): Ann Johnson Second Tenor (High): Estella Yarbrough Baritone (Middle): Janice Mitchell Contralto (Low): Trudy Cohran Bass (Lower/Bottom): Elaine Woodward I think this particular lineup of Raelettes had the best blend on this song. They sound like a wall of sound. With prior lineups (as well as lineups in the future), either one or two members' voices would be too distinct. These five ladies were all true background singers. I particularly enjoy Elaine Johnson's bass on this track.
