Haven't bought new glasses for over 2 years now, so i might get these since i got my new prescriptions from eye test. These smartglasses and the new insta 360 X4 camera will be a great combo for my Japan trip next month.

Both will work really well if the light is good. The Meta ones are significantly better in low light than the X4, but neither is good in the dark

Just won a pair - pretty amazing - they also translated whatever I was looking at (English/Italian/Spanish/French/German) - was able to answer a math problem I wrote down - was able to answer a multiple choice question on screen - basically also act like BT headset - v6 update now allows 3min vids 😎

What size are these glasses you have please ?

I love the charge case more than the actual glasses. It looks so classy and well made. On a side note the biggest hurdle now is battery tech we need a break through for smaller higher capacity batteries so devices like this can last longer on a single charge and so enable more advanced features

I'm 100% with the - the case actually looks BETTER than the original Ray-Ban's, hah. It's also sturdy, and it just looks well made as you said. As for battery tech, it always feels as if we're just around the corner. Surely in the next few years, we will see a much needed break-through. Thank you so much for watching, appreciate the love!

Did I miss it or did you not mention how/where the photo/video info is stored? On a micro sd card? How do you get the footage/photos onto your computer? Air Drop? 🤷🏼‍♂

Oops, I missed this comment, sorry. They're stored on an internal storage until you take them off wirelessly (bluetooth and wifi) with your phone (iPhone or Android).

I got them and really like them a lot. I’ve only had them for a week, but they look like regular glasses.

Thanks for watching! They really do look like standard glasses. My biggest problem with them is how wide the lens actually is, because when I wear a baseball cap or have a hoodie on, it shows up big time on the video.

Unfortunately it is limited to just 60 seconds at a time. You can record as many times in a row as you want, but only 1 minute at a time.

If u feel weird, then u may check yourself.Its the same as a cellphone its action cameras ,just in your face. If your in public the law states u have no privacy .There are cameras filming us everywhere, as long as your nit wearing them in the restroom, or looking through windows, then ist not creepy or weird .

No, it uses Meta AI which is actually pretty impressive to be honest but it’s connected to a certain app and it doesn’t seem to connect to any smarthome ecosystem (google, alexa etc) I would think about getting the echo frames if I were you as they have alexa built in.

They record only up to 60 seconds ????

Yes, just 60 seconds. You can restart immediately, but it's limited to 1 minute at a time.

They are for social media first and foremost (Meta). You can live stream to instagram for a lot longer than 60sec but to record for yourself it’s 60 sec max

I have prescription lenses in them so yes but if you don’t use the smart features except for small burst they can last

Although you didn't mention but these glasses can max record for 1 minute only. I think any future update is necessary which would increase the video length maybe to 5-10 mins but they should definitely do it otherwise there's no point in buying these.

Hey there 👋🏻 I actually did mention it at 8:40, but I really do wish they'd record for longer, too. They're really made for Instagram/Facebook stories, and short-form content producers in general. Everyone is likely better suited with alternatives.

these are large and they feel like it too, but they fit me well, and even my wife's face which is significantly smaller

So true, the ai even gets alot of things wrong

I hate having to wait for prescription orders having to be sent out to a remote location for lens installation before immersing into a new video world... As far as Meta only supplying features that only operate within the USA is or probably is a logistical nightmare to accomplish for them.

Luckily I didn't have to wait! But I still had to import them since they're only selling in a few countries :( But Ray-Ban did ship them to somebody and they forwarded them for me, which is nice!

Better off getting a stock pair and getting transition prescription lenses after- super easy to remove.

@Matanumi Not the best option for me... Prescription lens are MUST HAVES... Besides, I paid good money to have as few problems with new investments.

Well, here comes the rub wore them today to the Indian Wells tennis tournament within two minutes temperature too hot to use video. How about that I could take photos but I couldn't take video during the peak hours of between 11 and 2 PM.

That very much depends on the country you’re in. Some countries take privacy much more serious than the U.S., for example, and being in public doesn’t necessarily make it okay. Germany, Japan and the UAE are some that come to mind.
