All the plugins used on this video is on Platinum bundle too except CLA2A which you can replace with Renaissance Compressor and change the circuit mode from Electro to Opto.

One of the worst things the industry ever did was bring in auto tuning for vocals. Just let this woman sing how she sings.

Anyone else experiencing to much Wave Tune e.g. at 1:07? Such a great voice. That doesn’t seem to be right. Of course, it might meet expectations for „modern“ sounding pop or edm vocals, but - for me - sucks out any feeling. EQ sounds good tough.

I like Horizon Bundle very much. Just update plan is not what i like. Should be free to update, if you ask me. Not many people have money to update every year almost as much as bundle is worth. No offense. Great software thou. 😎🎶🥂

Yes, Waves update plans are ridiculous. I rather look elsewhere for great plugins.

Their strategy seems to be to sell you expensive plugins at an extremely low price and then make money through their upgrade plan

i think what you're after here, is that the vocal needs to be notably 'bigger' ... (the right kind of) compression would be a part of that ... it "needs" a lot more affecting, imho, to become what it could be, and now we're changing the scope and zooming in to a producer's lens ... to me, this vocal (AND the instrumentation) screams a need for Bon Iver effecting / affecting and harmonizing ... the chord progression, and her style of singing, is already almost there ... check it (it will be worth your time) along with affecting to the accoustic instruments, would make this track speak to people in a much more notable way ... i'm tempted to try and stem it just to pull this off ... if it were up for a remix contest, i would do it in a heartbeat.

The piano is too loud or the vocal is too low.

First step, put vocal correction on a vocal that doesn't need it. No need for any more steps as there's nothing you could possibly do at this point to prevent it from sounding like utter crap except remove the Waves tune plugin. I would rather listen to finger nails scraping a blackboard than pitch corrected vocal.
