Surprisingly only hit the reef once pretty hard. Wasn't featured in this video but probably my biggest wave of the trip. 8 foot west bowl sent me straight to the bottom haha

Possibly the best everyman's lesson of the legendary deep tunnel graveyard. How shallow? You practically scrape the fuc&ing reef everytime you duck-dive on a bodyboard!

I actually didn't bring a board, went mostly there to shoot for 2 weeks but this was my buddies old science model he had so I was using that every session I had out there haha

Is that right? For a start surfers and bodyboarders both surf the waves, and probably bodyboarders were the first to surf that dangerous wave before any surfer. That wave never gets massive anyway. Gets powerful, but not massive You try to go and surf el fronton in Spain. One of the most dangerous waves in the world Bodyboarders rule that wave , too dangerous to surfers
