Whats up with "asking " restaurants to stop serving these? How about telling them to stop or else we'll shut you down?

I can't blame her for wanting her money back, but when we eat raw oysters we are taking a chance with our health. Restaurants put warnings on their menus about this, which I happily ignore, but there is always the chance for illness with raw seafood. It sounds like this norovirus was really awful! That sucks that so many people were sickened.

If it came from Mexico, then that's a wake-up call to stop polluting down there. Unfortunately, the water where the oysters came from it's not the cleanest.

They ought to be ashamed of their self because oysters are so freaking expensive and for somebody to pay all that money and get sick in the process is nerve-wracking and very disturbing , and I love oysters I love them I love them I eat them I put them in my dressing I bake them fry them I boil them, but I never got sick and I don't buy them from restaurants I'll buy them from the store and I cook them at home myself where it's safe and clean

I never heard of Mexican oysters before, and that’s a good thing. There’s PEI, east coast, west coast, that’s all I’ve ever seen/tried.

people thinking these oysters from north west Mexico is bad? think about going to restaurants that import fish directly from Japan which is leaking nuclear waste water into the ocean.

I don't understand why anyone trusts restaurants or fast food places. They don't care where they get it, or what it grows in. Moreover, they'll charge you crazy prices for food that grows in feces.
