That chart is genius imo, thank you
My man, this chart is the best thing that I have ever seen from any ball manufacturer. Awesome!!!
Just want to thank you for the great videos and information on the brands of Brunswick equipment. These videos are very helpful.
I have the orange and black Raw Hammer. It's my only ball and I've used it at 3 different alleys that are allegedly much different oil patterns. It responds the same at each place - great skid, great hook, and it violently mugs the pins. No complaints.
Thank you for a very informative explanation. I am just an average 165 league bowler. I rolled a 216 the very first practice game with this blue/silver/white on medium oil. Needless to say I am very pleased!

a nice little bump up in strength from the entry level Rhino line.
Where would the Obsession Tour Pearl fit on this chart? The gold ball
hello thanks for the video, I love the black hammer raw. that ball is a lot for the money. Question buying the new purple hammer reactive actually I already ordered it. Where would it sit in comparison to the black hammer raw on your comparison chart or where on the chart in general?Thanks for the video.

As smooth, if not smoother than the black raw, but more total hook due to the cover strength and box finish.
I'm looking to get my 1st ball I really like the look of the Orange and black RAW but should I go with a twist or rino instead?
@BowlingBuckosh
2 жыл бұрын
the twist and rhino series are a little weaker in reaction, but for a better price. the raw series offers a little more hook, for a little more price. if you are just learning to hook the ball and hit your target, you won't see a huge difference between them, they are all great options.
Can web obtain your updated comparison chart?
So CFI in the outercore of a bowling ball is like dynamicore? 12% more hitting power?
@BowlingBuckosh
3 жыл бұрын
different processes to achieve the same desired outcome - dynamicore is a different outer core material. carbon fiber is added to the base material matrix. both increase the strength/weight ratio of the outer core. ✔ i do not personally have the statistical numbers on CFI, that process was adopted from the EBI plant.
would you say that the Black Raw is Hammer's benchmark ball?
@BowlingBuckosh
3 жыл бұрын
if you are a slower speed player, a higher rev player, or if you bowl on a lot of friction, this could definitely be a benchmark ball. otherwise it's a little weaker, and something like a web tour hybrid or an obsession tour would make a better benchmark ball.
I’ve been eyeing up the Raw Black Solid since over the past couple months I’ve been looking at balls (just by looks). I’m not a fan of the alien snot/American flag vomit colors and am don’t get high revs. I’m a bit of a novice and am looking to get my own first ball, after going through the house balls and a few used balls (not drilled for me). My pro shop initially had recommended a Brunswick Twist, but the Raw Black Solid looks a bit more promising for me. Thanks for the video!

the raw series is the most affordable series for hammer, only a fraction higher than the twist series- great value and more overall performance. good luck! ✔

@@BowlingBuckosh I ordered a 15#er just before Memorial Day weekend. I was at the pro shop at the lanes we usually go to a couple days ago and it had just come in, but hadn’t been drilled yet. I’m not in a rush, but I really want to try it out ASAP! Thanks for the reply!

@@BowlingBuckosh yup……been around awhile….was still going strong when Ebonite sold out to Brunswick.
Is it a good idear to clean and wax the blue , white and silver raw ball
@BowlingBuckosh
6 ай бұрын
always clean you ball after use with a USBC approved ball cleaner such as Hammer Clear Magic or any PowerHouse cleaning product. when you notice the shine is dulling up, its a good idea to have your pro shop sand and resurface the ball then apply USBC approved ball polish.

@@BowlingBuckosh hi bryan the black widow 2.0 hybrid i have can it be used to bowl straight down the right side of the ally across the ally and hook in from the right side to the pocket. I would like use the ball for all purpose needs thanks al
Would you throw the solid on a short pattern>
@BowlingBuckosh
3 жыл бұрын
it depends on a lot a variables. i would say this shape is smooth enough to control a short pattern well, especially for lower-rev bowlers. if the pattern is light and short, extremely short, or if you are a higher rev player, the raw solid may be too strong.

@@BowlingBuckosh The Open Championships is coming up for me? I bowl 2handed I have high end ball but I know they will be to much ball.
@BowlingBuckosh

i think it would be a good choice to blend the open championship patterns. the shorter pattern is typically still a bit on the medium side. i am likely bringing one myself.
