good footage and paddling, as a paddler of lakes and rivers here is the US I have come to enjoy watching the different perspective of the Surf ski paddler - the seas and waves and breakers right in front of you as paddle on and on!!

Great vid and run mate. Noticed you had your leash strapped to the lhs of paddle rather than middle or leg. Do you find it annoying or is there a reason for its location? Cheers

I also have a leash to the surfski. The wrist leash I use when the wind is especially gusty (30kn+) or I may need to let go of my paddle to work on something, or remount. LHS is besst because one would normally use your right hand to do stuff, and carry the surfski.

Any chance you'd post a longer uncut video of one of the great paddling sections? It would be great for learning... Thanks!

Great video. Why do you attach your paddle leash next to the left blade instead of at the center of the shaft as I do? Doesn't it interfere more with the motion of the paddle that way?

Hi Gary, that leash is actually one of our new leashes. It's absolutely awesome. It's a wrist leash. See here: mockepaddling.com/product/wrist-paddle-leash/

@@DawidMocke I see. I attach my paddle to the boat which makes it convenient to remove from the paddle when I don't need it in calm water. But you are doing mostly downwind, I can see how your system makes sense.
