(RAW) First day with a NEW ROPE

The raw unedited video of a job back in January when I first got my new climb line. It is a Sampson voyager I believe. These three pines had a pretty bad drop zone, and as such I had to get a little creative on the last and final one.

Really enjoy your videos. They're a nice no frills look at tree climbing. I like guys like August Hunicke but sometimes they seem to overdramatic about the job they're doing. Keep it up, be safe sir.

Thanks, I wish while i was working I would remember to explain What I'm doing and why, but I often forget. Ive been toying with the idea of doing voice overs after the fact to explain my thought process a bit more.

Man, you scared the tar out of me when you stepped out on the small limb. Glad to see you got new rope, the old one looked pretty frayed. Stay safe. God bless. Love your videos. 🙏🙏🙏 Good job.

Sometimes they prefer harder not smarter. It's a teufelberger pulley saver. I think it's the 4m one.

I think the tallest has been 120' or so. The video is on KZread. I liked it until one of the ground guys cut it halfway down it's length
