YNR are still dropping dope shit bruv, especially the Jehst releases whose in my top 5 UK MC’s & lyricists of all time. Proud to say I still have YNR 01 on vinyl, it was Jehsts debut Premonition E.P. Still sounds dope as fk if a bit poor sound quality. Along wi Chester, Roots Manuva & well you get the point. Top 5s are to hard to narrow down.
This a genuine surprise man. I thought I had seen if not own all the best UK Hip Hop documentaries already on dvd if not VHS tapes but glad to see I was wrong .

This really was the UK''s golden era. Shit was so fresh and you truly felt liked you belonged to a proper worldwide underground culture. I was copping these records in Australia at this time. Its fucking disgusting these acts are just fleeting memory now. Shit proper pisses me off to think about for too long. To all these artists and so many that weren't featured in the documentary... THANK YOU ALL FOR THE ILLEST MUSIC AND MEMORIES TO COME OUT OF THAT ERA!! FOR REAL. EXCEPT FOR BRAINTAX. BRAINTAX CAN CHOKE ON A SMORGASBORD OF DICKS!!!

wonder why nobody invited me to be on this, I was highly active in the scene back then and making tunes with some of the artists featured. unless they aked me and I declined? my memory's hazy. I hear and see some of my records featured tho.
