I have been blessed by the teachings of Mr. Ravi! I listen and despite his personal struggles he always pointed people to Christ. He credit Jesus alone for saving him as a young man. The church world will find a person gifted use them up and cast them out. I in no ways agree with the evil things he did nor do I down play the hurt of the victims. Howsoever I can not throw away the truth that came through his teachings. My heart hurt that he did not embrace the solutions preached in his own sermons. I pray healing for his family and victims and I pray that Mr. Ravi cried out and repented and made it to heaven. GOD granted him days upon a sick bed I pray he used them to make it in.

Same, wether he did or didnt do it. It shows that 1 that He Christ is the only One we can Belive in. 2. God despite evil we do can proclaim His profound love for us by any means and our actions can do nothing to stop Him.

FUTURE GRACE FILLS THE LIFE WITH LOVE Why is it that living by faith in future grace must always be a life of love? What is it about faith in future grace that inevitably "works through love"? Galatians 5:6 says, "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love." Texts like this have caused the church to teach that faith alone justifies, but the faith that justifies is never alone. That is, it is always accompanied by the works of love. Faith, thus receiving and resting in Christ and his righteousness, is the alone instrument of justification; yet it is not alone in the person justified, but is ever accompanied with all the saving graces, and is no dead faith, but worketh by love. It is not our doctrine that the faith which justifies is alone. We maintain that it is always joined with good works. But it is remarkable how seldom the effort is made to dig into the experiential dynamics of how faith gives rise to love. Even though experience teaches that understanding our sanctification actually advances it. When we finally grasp the biblical, God-ordained means of transformation, then our minds and hearts are more engaged with it and can make more progress in the way of love. What is the reason for this neglect? Could one reason be that the key that unlocks the experiential connection between faith and love is the nature of faith as a future-oriented satisfaction in all that God is for us in Jesus? Is it the failure to deal adequately with the true nature of faith that hinders the recognition of its power to sever the root of sin and energize works of love? Failing to give due attention to the future-oriented, promise-trusting essence of faith that is satisfied with all that God is for us in Jesus, limits our understanding of how this faith sanctifies the heart (Acts 15:9) and serves others with love (Galatians 5:6). What I have found is that to the degree that a writer probes the nature of faith's power to satisfy the heart with all God promises to be for us, to that degree is the writer able to render an account of how "faith worketh by love;" but to the degree that this aspect of faith is omitted, to that degree is faith's role in sanctification truncated, and appeal is usually made to the fruit-bearing work of the Holy Spirit without the corresponding explanation of the experiential dynamics which are so crucial in our lives. The key to faith's power is that it embraces the future grace promised by God. "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (I John 2:25). facebook.com/lovejoypeaceforever

Ravi Zacharias so on in a lot of his talks, but would love to know why he does not keep the 4th Commandment. This is something that God encouraged me to pursue and I know from His word it was never changed by Him, that was something man did and there is solid proof of that. We are never to change one thing that God has said, this is also in the Bible such as Deut 4:8, Proverb 30:6, Galatians 1:6-9 and many more are in the Bible. It is very hearting to know that in a place the size of Israel the Messianic Congregations now have grown to well over a hundred in the last thirty years and still growing. Amazing, just think if people honored the 4th Commandment how their area of worship would be blest and grow!!!

I have not and nor will anyone else, God has a place for everyone who calls upon him, Ravi lives, lived the Lord while he had breath, his obedience became the written word of God, why wouldn’t a man like Ravi not live the entirety of the Word of God ? When you meet Ravi in heaven you will have the opportunity to ask him why he didn’t keep the 4th commandment.

Prof Zacharias missed the mark on these talks about truth. All cataphatic truths can be manipulated and bent to create an illusion. That's what he did with his private life. Αλήθεια, truth, foundationally refers to the action of disclosure. That is, uncovering of reality. That's why Christ answered the way He did. Ravi's glaring miss has been shown to be what it is. The truth will come out eventually because the illusion cannot be sustained forever.

Well, Mr. Zacharias is an extremely charming & intelligent man, but he treads a very fine line. He does so, by leaving out the name of that Early Christian Church. The one that Christ began on Pentecost, nearly 2000 yrs. ago. The one that taught for several hundred years, before the New Testament was even compiled. The one that still remains to this day, as Christ promised. The one that knew Him and gave us EVERYTHING we know about Jesus Christ and His plan for our salvation. Thanks to the Protestant Reformation, there are now nearly 50,000 differing opinions and on that ONE TRUTH that God gave us. Many even growing apart from any form of Christianity and what it is defined to be. Mostly due to their prideful & wrongful interpretations of the Scriptures . This continuing tragedy carries on today, causing the followers of Christ & His apostles to become more and more separated, just as Christ warned St. Peter in the Gospel of Luke 22:31&32 - "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”… Sadly, Satan has succeeded far beyond anyone's expectations. As a result, Christianity has weakened & diluted itself to where it stands today. Mr. Zacharias, is either innocently ignorant to these spiritual & historical truths, or he knowingly denies the ONE TRUTH that Christ personally gave to His apostles and commissioning them to preach it to every nation. --- I hope and pray that it is the former. I am disappointed that this one hour talk, was without mention of that lone source that gave us everything we know about the Son of God, His message & His love for each of us. All of us must thank God for His Catholic Church! Ravi, if you see this, please contemplate what I have stated here. To love God with all one's heart & soul, ALWAYS means to serve Him, despite the pain and humiliations we might suffer from the world around us. Knowing so many in the last 2 millennia have given the ultimate sacrifice in bearing their own cross to martyrdom. All for the love & service they freely chose, in emulating our Lord and Savior. Without them, where would we be today. God Bless.

I politely encourage you to read those documents authored by the early Church fathers. You'll soon notice that there have always been differing opinions and interpretations on the Bible teachings. I also disagree with you on the claim that it took hundreds of years to compile the New Testament. The historical writings were completed within a few decades from Christ's death, and were almost immediately recognised as inspired, with only a few apostolic letters being doubted. Besides, the Roman Catholic church now recognises that many of the protestant claims were valid. The Bible is now available to everyone in their own language, for example, and many unholy historical practices have been abolished. In the view of Jews, Christians have deviated their ways from the true way; this is the same the Catholic authorities see protestants, but we claim, just like the early Christians, that it is the authorities who have gone astray, and we are only trying to worship God the way He deserves to the best of our possibilities.

Still dispite the snarkm still see no evidence on your part to convince me that catholic tradition stands in scripture.
