El saxofonista y director de orquesta estadounidense Ravi Coltrane se presentó en el Centro Cultural Kirchner en 2017. Al frente de su cuarteto, formado por David Virelles en piano, Dezron Douglas en contrabajo y Johnathan Blake en batería, interpretó obras magníficas.
El ciclo "Jazz. Visitas internacionales" rememora grandes conciertos realizados en el Centro Cultural Kirchner, con figuras como Bill Frisell, Egberto Gismonti y Barry Harris, entre otras.

Ravi's intro about the players was really informative, and I wish there were more vids like that where the lead artist is giving this kind of insight. ust beholding Johnathan Blake's kit after hearing Ravi talk about his set up is a real treat.

I know what you mean, but we should just be thankful these 4 guys make music like this, and we are here to behold it. I wonder what that one person who gave it thumbs down was thinking, lol!
