49ers fan, but the Ravens showed up and Lamar showed out. They man handled the Niners. No two ways about it. The Niners started going down the field early like I thought they would. But once Purdy got rattled, and the picks started piling up, the momentum was gone. The Niners had no answer for Lamar. He was kicking back there with all the time in the world. And when they did get after him, Lamar was way too fast and slippery. Absolutely no answer. GG to the Ravens and their fans. They dismantled the 49ers in convincing fashion. We got smashed in the mouth. Let’s hope we meet again. I have a good feeling the Niners will be better prepared next time. But right now, Ravens fans can bask in their glory. Well done.

Our defense is the most concerning thing I saw. They seem to lay down at times and are WAY too soft on the under routes, giving up 7 yard out routes is not the way to stop a team like the Ravens. This should be a huge eye opener for the niners. Concerning to say the least, but I still think they are the odds on favorites to win the SB.

I said last week the ravens were the only team I was concerned about for the 49ers. I thought it was going to be their run game but I didn't expect their defense to overpower our offense. What makes this even more wild is they have some important players injured and they still keep trucking. The Ravens clearly deserve the top of the AFC, no doubt.

For sure! Key and Sherm would be shitting all over Skip, they still are after the loss to Miami even though Dak played a decent game and put the Cowboys ahead at the end and gave them a chance to win. And Sherm giving excuses for some of Purdy’s picks is hilarious, knowing damn well he wouldn’t give those same excuses if it was Dak. The 2 tipped ones were a combination of good plays by the Ravens defense and bad luck that the ball went in the air. The other 2 were good plays by the Ravens defense. All of them have the same thing in common, all were great plays made by the Ravens defense. This game put Lamar at the top of the MVP race, with McCaffrey and Tyreek at 2 and 3. After that, I’d have Tua at 4, Dak at 5 and Purdy at 6. These at 4,5 and 6 can be in any order and I wouldn’t have a problem.

As a Niners4Life fan, I wasn't surprised of the outcome due to certain teams just are a nightmare match up, and Baltimore has been a nightmare for us in previous games and yes, including the SB some years ago. Regular Season games they've just been nothing short of a headache, but then the Ravens eventually lose all their feathers midflight in the Post Season to whomever!!! I think it's worth mentioning that Bill Vinovich was the lead official in this game too. I always find it very interesting the games in which the league selects him as a lead official. There's a lot of controversy surrounding many of the big games that he has officiated in.

It was a good ravens win and something I think the Niners needs before heading into the playoffs .

I couldn't wait to hear what Richard Sherman said about the Ravens smashing the 49s, and it was priceless to hear him say the Ravens were the best team last night! Of course, he discounted Lamar's MVP play compared to Purdy's poor performance, and if stats count so much to Sherman, he should review the stats from last night! They're the only numbers that count!

All Sherman is saying is that stats count but not ONLY the stats from a single game. It’s really not that difficult to understand. And let’s consider context. By the end of the game the Niners were down to their very last OL on the roster. That’s a factor that will make it a nightmare for any team/QB. As great as Lamar Jackson is, I don’t see him being able to overcome the same circumstances.

I think he underestimated the defense, because the reason why he wasn't on the Ravens is because the offense does go stagnant at times. I'm assumed the defense couldn't overcome it like the ravens defense isnt on par with the 49ers the only thing we don't have is DOPY type edge on DL

MVP is mostly based on stats, those are a good case for me for a player other than a QB to win it.

Going the whole first two offensive drives with ONE run play. Shanahan was trying to win theMVP for Purdy to show “look what i did”. It was too cute. If we ran the ball outside zone on the left behind big 71, we would have had a decent shot at a good game but throwing the ball over 40 times with purdy is stupid

No they definitely were. They gave up on the run way too fast and had Purdy throwing deep a LOT. The ravens have a great run defense but the 49ers needed to stick with it because that’s their identity.
