Ravenol VST 5W40 Turbo 2022.
What does the test show?
The more weights you manage to put on the machine until it stops, the stronger the oil film under test. The test examines the oil film's resistance to tearing.
The sample is measured with a micrometer - the lower the result with a given load (the gouge in the sample is smaller), the oil will give better protection to the engine.
The table will give the result of the gouge in the sample, the number of weights placed on the machine, the temperature when the machine is stopped.

Przetestowałem ravenol bo miałem w silniku 2.2 Honda diesel Motul x cess 5w40 i było ok ale było trochę słychać turbo i trochę ubywało.Wlałem ravenol 5w,40 turbo synt czy coś i turbo jest cichsze i poziom po ponad 1000 km jest na górnej kropce czyli tyle ile wlałem.Czyli mogę powiedzieć że na kilka lat ten olej pozostanie w silniku będę zmieniał tylko filtr.😊Ravenol jest lepszy niż x cess to pewne.
No rozłożył głównego konkurenta czyli Meguin Super Leichtlauf 5W40 na łopatki. Oba na Pao. Meguin niecio tańszy. Zobaczymy co będzie w 100 stopniach

Thanks to you I found Mannol Engine Oils and that saved me a fortune since they are top notch quality with considerable savings for other well-established brands (in my case I was using Elf's SXR 5W40 and now I'm going with Extreme HC 5W40 with exactly the same performance for little over half the price).
Thanks Piotr from your advice i use in my Audi 1.9 PD without dpf Ravenol vst and engine run amazing.

Piotr, I think the new machine provides the best results when oils have a lot of solid friction modifiers (e.g., molybdenum, tungsten, titanium, ceramics, ZDDP etc). Can you please test Total 7000 10w40 API SN (or Elf 700 STi 10w40 API SN, same oil) ? This oil has more than 100 ppm of Moly and it should perform great here. I also think this Ravenol VST oil is the best on the 5w40 range from Ravenol because it has the most Tungsten content. Can you please also test Tungsten Disulfide oil additives, e.g. WS2-E ?

Odpisałem Panu na maila, a od nośnie top 3 5W40 C3 do diesela, to nie ma takiej topki, bo nikt o zdrowych zmysłach nie będzie lał oleju klasy "top of top" to samochodu za 20-30tyś. Obecnie królem wśród olejów 5W40 C3 jest Xado AMC Black Edition 5W40 (czarna puszka) ale niestety cena - boli. Poszukiwanie najlepszych olejów trwa dalej...
Piotrze zrob test Liqui Molly 5w40 lub 5w30 lepszy Revenol od Liqui Molly?

Liqui Molly 5w40 zmieniany co 10 tyś zatarł panewki korbowodowe w honda accord lany olej był praktycznie od nowości samochód w jednych rękach
prosze jeszcze o test tego oleju przy 100%, moj faworyt jak na razie

It's not meaning smooth running for all the engine becuase this is high viscosity for High pressure turbo engine, if your NA engine may be very viscous for low speed running on low temperature meaning very fuel consumption in this oil.
