Bro this really is an all in one Raven guide, mad props to you! The move recap with use and purpose is AMAZING. I was inspired after the community poll to try Raven out. Hitting multiple ff3 in combos is so satisfying 😩it makes me feel like im hitting electrics.😅 They are a bit strict but its not as hard to do. The only thing that confuses me with raven is that certain moves will leave him back turned even when blocked and ill have to commit to an option like armor, parry, or his 8f jab. You really have to play aggressive with this character ☠️

You don't have to commit to any back turn moves actually. B3+4 will manually turn him back around, and that's your safest option.

As a Raven player, the recommendation in BT is to do b/d, b+3+4 is much faster, b+1+3 will make you parry, f+3 if it is in CH is lethal, b+1 even if you block it will leave you in good position, b+1+2 you will do parry too

B/D is safest return to front facing. Add 1 to it and it's combo time. Trust.

Very nice guide, bro, a couple of points, his 3,3 mid high string jails on block so the opponent cannot duck. Also, any moves that have shadow clones in heat, build back some of your heat meter on hit.

The ff3 combos are so satisfying to do but getting that qcf1,2 can be very tricky because you need to time when you land the ff3

I’m still pissed that they got rid of my favorite moves illusion strike and Blind Ghost.

@@mwkan772 There is also one combo stronger and with oki potential bt ff3+4 with changing side so: bt ff3+4 btf242 b3+4 bt3+4 ff3 f23 3+4 szn4 (on end szn 3+4 its oki so without this its like 59dmg and with oki +21) Same launcher but without changing sides can be like: bt ff3+4 db2 bt2 f242 ENDER (here szn 1f 12 or stronger b3+4 bt 21f 12 61dmg) or lil bit stronger version bt ff3+4 db21 1 b242 b3+4 bt21f 12 64dmg

instead of endeing combos with BT 2,1 f 3 try BT 2,1 f 1,2 same damage and great wall carry, fits most of the times

You can launch punish death fist with ff3 actually, strict timing but possible.

frame-wise you totally can, but keep in mind that in tip ranges it might whiff. And you really don't wanna whiff against Paul. And if you're late by 2 frames, Paul will block and launch, so, it's iffy (but still worth practicing imo). 🫠

you have to be perfect and fast..

BT f2,3 Is +14 even if you landed in normal hit, counter hit isn't necessary

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't FF3 bufferable on block, meaning you should use it not only as a whiff punish but as a reliable 15f punish?

timing is strict you just have to build a muscle memory to do it

Another point on using ws32 to punish -16 lows, don’t. Just use ws1 for pretty much every low that’s -14 or more. Ws32 is a tornado so you miss out on combo damage doing that. If you block something like Kazuyas hellsweep that’s like -30 or whatever you can just do ff3 easily.
