I,m sorry to say that I would not expect him to become a better fighter, like 10 years past his best performances. He is now only fighting for money, which every fighter is. But A. Pettis is over the hill as they say. He was a bad bad opponent to meet, becuase of his "Ninja like Skills" that actually worked sometimes. But those days are gone unfortunately.

maybe, and I agree, but it was a close fight, if you see the stats. I dont know if they, the judges, see it like in ONE championship. Where the fight is judged by the fight, and not by the rounds?? I dont know. But Pettis clearly was rocked bad in the 3rd round, got knocked down 2 times. I can see that fight going either way, i hoped for pettis, but i was not sure. But clearly, the quality of judges, in this tournament, is so bad, that it damages the whole concept. And if this goes on, no fighter with a normal IQ would enter this ring. MMA is growing so fast these days that there is thousands og fighters that are good enough for the big stages. Thats why all these weird organizations is arising. But again, there is SO much money in this sport, and still to this day the fighters are paid so low, that they live from month, to month. So why that little midget Conor from some island in Europe, is one of the best paid in MMA, is really sickening to see. There is not much difference for most MMA fighters, from the time of the Roman Colloseum.

If you see the fight between Gleison Tibau, and Rory Mcdonald. It is sickening, that they accept that kind of judges. Because that was not good. It is an extreme example, of either sleeping judges, or the match is fixed. Anyway the judges in this competition damages the whole idea, and concept.

yeah, he is. One thing you have to concider, is his background. He utilises much of his Tae-Kwon-Doe. Which he has black belt 3 degree, or something like that. This makes him very technical, in very many ways. And those kind of fighters often hit the wall, when they come up to the early 30,s Because they are depending on a 100 percent perfectly shaped body, which is light, and flexible. Everybody loses something between 26 to 32 years, in the mobility, and flexibility. If Pettis had been a wrestler, and a ground, and pounder. He would have been in his prime. Just look at Sergio, he is in his Prime now, because of his style, which is very similar to Anthony,s style. And just look at Glover Teixera. Pettis have been holding on to the stand up, show fighting style, for too long. His ground game, is what he is missing. Normally fighters in his age, have adapted a good ground game. Fighters need to evolve, and learn to be all-rounded. Some start as wrestlers, and become good strikers, but then they know that they can go anywhere the fight takes them. Like Kamaru Usman. Some do it the other way. In MMA, you need a good ground game, and a good kickboxing game. Unfortunately, Pettis is showing that he is not as mobile and technical as he was when he was in his prime. Showtime could not be a better nickname for this prodigy of entertainment.
