When emiology is bonding with her rats, she puts them in a sling carrier and carries them around everywhere with her. You doing a great job with your rats 👍😁

Very nice to see all three of your rats are out in mingling! The one that I used to have named Tip toe long long go was a huge big boy who was always cuddling and thanks. Maybe you need to give each one individual attention and let them sit on your shoulder as you go around the house and spin at least 20 minutes a day with individual time with each one to see if you can get them to be a little bit more cuddly with you. I never had female rats I only had mail and mine loved unsalted french fries he was a nut for them lol. Super cool I didn’t even know they had pet boxes for rats that is awesome

AarynLynn!! Hiiiiii! and that is a great idea!! going to do that. i bought a lil satchel with an amazon giftcard to carry em and get them more comfortable. and right?? i love that its a thing. going to skip the next few months to pay extra debts but i truly love it

yea!! i love them hehe. going to have to skip the next few months cause of the debt thingy but im excited to start getting them again!!

So female rats can be very loving, Muffin one of my rats that I had loved being around me and always wanted attention. My guess is why your two young girls are more shy might have to do with the breeder they came from. The breeder might not be breeding for personality and they could be shy if their mom or dad rat was shy. They might become more use to you the longer there with you but sometimes they will always be more shy. Let's hope that they can warm up to you as time goes by 😁🐀 Edit: btw the best way to keep rats from destroying hammocks and hides is to give them toilet paper.

Hi there! Yes so I definitely have confirmation that the breeder I purchased from was a backyard breeder. I was so heartbroken to learn about it. But I did a ton of research for my two new girls that I'm going to introduce soon on the channel. And oh my gosh I will definitely try the toilet paper hack! Thank you so much

So sorry to here that they were a backyard breeder. I've always been nervous about trying to find good breeders, there's always the chance you get a bad breeder. I am very excited though to see the new rats 😁

I have four babies. Not all rats are the same. Unfortunately your rats might not snuggle into you etc this doesn’t mean they don’t like you it’s clear they’re comfortable. Even if you bond more. They may still not. My one very explore baby Raven never runs on the wheel (yet the other three do and they like to try at the same time but one baby is chunky so she knocks them out somethings only two can run at the same time) my explore baby will crawl all over nibble my ears and just run around. One I have (I’ve had them a year and half) is fine with cleaning my fingers (which is a recently new thing for all four of my babies) but this one Sapphire is very she is still she doesn’t like being picked up by the seems of things. She did sleep under my leg the other day. Was so wholesome. My little girl Snow likes to just be the trouble maker. And my lil baby Iris is such a sleep Chucky girl. Loves to run wished she could snuggle on me had many individual times with each. But they are still young and prefer to run around and run on me than just snuggle in me. Iris likes to go in my shirt 🤣 Not every rat will be a cuddly floof. I think a lot just prefer to run. Maybe when they’re free roaming you could sit with them more when they’re tired out and maybe then they’ll be more snuggles in you? But they seem to love you very much. You’re doing a fantastic job. They look very happy and very comfortable. Some rats are just very energetic and maybe some cat toys would be good I’ve been thinking of getting one with a feather or so at bottom and just run around with it for my babies. My babies do love to use me as a climbing frame 😂🤭

Hi!! Omg thank you for all this information!!!! It is true, that's why I'm thinking of transitioning to boys 😅 I love them no matter what obviously, but I definitely could use some cuddle buddies. I have once tried the free roaming for hours and hours and it did kind of work with Boca. I'm trying to set up my room a little differently so that I can have them free roam whenever I'm home! I think I'll record the process of all that too 🥰💜 the cat toy thing is genius!! I'll have to try that!! And thank you for the kind words 🥹 I'm very hard on my self to be honest. I want to give them a happy life and get worried I'm messing it up 😅

@@amethystscorner I can relate I can use some snuggle buddies. But my babies are just more interested in running around. I got them a doggie bed for when they’re out. With these babies I have them out I’m my living room with close inspection since I don’t want them to eat my cables. When I had babies a few years back it was just free roaming on the floor in my room I had little space at the time. But I think they still had a good life. And I’m sure your babies are loving every moment with you. I know a lot of people will say this that and the next thing but remember what feels right to you for your babies is right. I would not push yourself or them to cuddle as much as we may wanna some babies just love to run around. But maybe once they get older they’ll be more into snuggles I hope my babies are. And you’re welcome🐀🥺
