The last scene is the first time she calls him by his name instead of "sir". It is the perfect ending. She finally confessed the love(romantic point of view) or at least found herself equal to Ashwin(Optimistic point of view).

I liked the movie so much

I love the way he looks at her while unboxing the sewing machine... Wow... I can't get over the scene... A simple story line with intense delivery... And finally should mention his friend's advice to him... Whatever, if we love someone we should look from their perspective too..

Yeah, love does exist ,though rear. One of our family friend did marry his maid ,no one could say anything coz he was rich and independent, They were the most beautiful and loving couple , their daughters r my best friends.

Just loved this movie..No drama no overacting... Such a perfect direction with greatest actors.. Mainly ashwin,such a perfect gentle man..dream of every girl..And the forehead kiss was full of respect🥺

@Sakshi Gupta All of this discrimination in India happens because people are blindsided by what society calls 'normal', which is what you explained. However, Love is a different thing altogether. Most humans bow under the pressure of society, family etc., and end up living unhappy lives until the end, some choose to have a double life to experience their moment of bliss when they can. But it is all fake. I am a product of Indian parents living outside if India, but their mindset is still the same. When we teach our children that it is okay to be who we are, and that includes being Gay or living single, as Soul has no gender, and accept life in the simple form as the divine intended for us, then only 'class' will not be a problem. Because 'class' has no value, as seen so many lifetimes, the so called 'class' commit murder for their pride, just a shame...we can agree to disagree, but when 'class' is the first thing that comes out of a person's mouth, I feel that they have not experienced what true freedom really is from within...Peace Out and have a great day!

I love this movie. It was like I wasn't watching actors but footage of a real developing love. He would have done anything for his Ratna. But I must say, the frustration I felt at his mom calling and interrupting what I hoped would be a sensual scene that led to his bed...the frustration was immense. The ending was realistic and wonderful...but I so wanted the next scene to be him leading her down that hallway for an amazing experience. I speak for many, I'm not ashamed to say.

A well chiseled movie. Great .... I mean at the end whn ratna finds the door locked... I feel like crying. Come back ashwin..... Just oshadharon.

I watched this movie twice in a single day... Such a beautiful movie... Top class script and top class actors... I really think i need to stop watching "star kids movies"... What's ur opinion on this?

It's a beautiful movie yes... Both the lead actors have done a splendid job... I am open to watching good movies with good performances, irrespective of who is acting in it... We have talented star kids like Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor... In the past, we as a country, have enjoyed watching Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol and others... I think we should be fair to talented actors, even if they are star kids...

Love this movie! I would've loved to have seen Ashwin's reaction when Ratna calls him by his name. Just his expression alone would've been enough... oh his eyes! Both actor/actress (Vivek & Tillotama) have done an incredible job. There are so many nuances in both their performances. So much is said without saying anything. I hope they work together again in another film, because Vivek and Tillotama make a beautiful pair on-screen. And you can feel their chemistry. It's magical!
