RATIONAL NUMBERS.... SIR, VIDEO VERY WELL PLANNED IN A SYSTEMATIC MANNER WITH EXAMPLES TO PROVE THE POINT WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH TO PRAISE ITS QUALITY . YR WAY OF PRESENTATION ON VARIOUS SCIENCE AND MATHS TOPIC IS UNIQUE AND LIKED BY ALL THAT INCLUDES SCIENCE AND MATHS DISLIKERS. WHILE YR VIDEOS ARE MOST LIKED BY ALL IN INDIA, I AM NT SURPRISED IF YOU GET THE SAME APPRECIATION FROM BILLIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WAY OF PRESENTATION! Vatsa
Hi sir, answer for Q1 is a) terminating b) non terminating Q2) a)10.1, 10.2. b)45/99, 46/99, 47/99,48/99 Q3) 47/200
In context of dealing with abstract mathematics (and proofs) then all integers are considered ration. Example: 7/1 is considered rational, yet 7 alone is an integer.

Good work! you said division of any two Integer is the result of a rational number. The division of two irrational numbers can also be a rational number. For example: √2 /√2 =1 which is rational number. So why everyone on KZread say p/q both MUST BE the numbers from the Integer set??
@darshanslanki1671
5 ай бұрын
Because the denominator & numerator should be integers in its simplest form and when √2/√2 is simplified then it becomes 1/1 where both are in p/q form & q≠0
@mit6403
3 ай бұрын
@@darshanslanki1671 because always when you add two irrational numbers you get irrational answer,√2/√2 you get √1 which is an irrational numbers.
sir how do we solve the non-terminating decimal..0.16....in this case only 6 has a bar..its just like the 3rd one of the top 3 questions
answer for Q1 1) terninating 2) reccuring Q2 1)10.125 10.25 10.4375 10.5 2) dk this one 3) 233/990?? not sure

Is there anything like we should multiply the same factors which comes for denominator.. to the numerator.. in terminating nd recurring problems.??
Q.1 (a) is terminating. As there is a property for rational number if the denominator is in the form of 2 into 5 ( 5 × 2 power 4 ) then the decimal expansion is terminating . ( b ) is non terminating recurring because its decimal expansion is not in the form of 5×2. Q.2 ( a ) four rational number between 10 and 10.5 are 10.1 10.2 ,10.3 and 10.4 ( b) for rational number between 4.9 and 7.7 are 45 / 99 , 46 /99, 47/99 and 48 /99. ( there are infinite rational number between two rational number). 3.

1a) Terminating b) Recurring 2 a) 101, 102, 103 and 104 b) any four rational numbers in between 220÷495 and 315÷495. 3) x = 233÷990

Thank you for the video! How can we represent this recurring decimal number: 0.999999999999......... in a fraction? I tried this, but it is not making sense. Can you please help? x=0.9999999....... 10x=9.9999999..... 10x-x=9 9x=9 x=1 = 1/1, which is not equal to 0.999999.... so, does this mean 0.999999...... is irrational (non-terminating and non-recurring)?
@zerosubs5422
4 жыл бұрын
0.9 recurring is not irrational, as it is recurring. There is a pattern that repeats, which is the infinite 9’s. 0.9 recurring is actually equal to 1, as the number of 9’s is infinite, so it tends to 1. In the same way that 0.3 recurring is equal to 1/3, as putting and infinite number of 3’s means that it tends to a value that can be written as the ratio of twi integers, 1/3. And also, if 1/3 is 0.3 recurring and you multiply both 1/3 and 0.3 recurring by 3, you get 1 is equal to 0.9 recurring
