19Q. if S:NS =4:3 and no.of story books =1248 then 4k=1248, k=312. since ratio of non story books are unchanged that gives no.of story books added = 312.(since one share value is k)

a simpler approach for 19th question: story : non story book = 4k:3k earlier now it is 5k : 3k which means that 4k (the earlier ratio of story books) which 1248 as mentioned in the question has become 5k now by addition of some more books so, 5k-4k= 1k(diff between new and old amount of story books) and 1248 - 1k = 5k 1248 = 4k 312 = K now you can take out the respective values sorry for the long explanation i tend to overexplain myself

In Q.19, simple trick→ Ratio increased from 4:3 to 5:3 means 5-4=1, which means 1 part of 4 is increased so 1/4th of 1248 is the answer- 312. If 6:3 asked→ 6-4=2 means 2/4→1/2th of 1248 will be the answer- 624. You can check by above method.

Thank you very much for these videos, they are really helpful. On question 5 you simply added the four terms to get K, however I am wondering why if I add the first three terms, I don't get the fourth term? Put another way, is it true that the sum of the first three terms will equal to the fourth term?

Sir in question no (16) we can just make the fractions into whole numbers by finding the LCM of the denominators , I think it would be easier for the calculation.

12Q. sir, i had done like this.... 3k+2k+3k=6480. we get k=810. Then amount spent on Q = 2 x 810 = 1620. therefore no.of Q articles = 1620/180 = 9. can you reply me why my answer is different from yours.

the way they solved, they did calculation mistake took R as 2k instead of 3k .Hence calculation gone wrong . Answer must be 9 either ways.

I too had the same answer but, when you calculate no of article of P and R then it comes in decimal ie, p =8.1 which is not possible. so better go with the solution provided in the video. Thanks.

12) if we calculate it as taking 8 pieces then each piece is 810rs, for q type of articles it is 2k so.. 810*2= 1620rs and after doing 1620/180 we get 9 articles, i got it as per the way I solved, but still not able to figure out where I went wrong
