I think Shawn Mendes is like the sweetest person on the planet. He took fame on at a very young age, and still managed to smile even when he’s stressed out, or having a bad day/feeling particularly anxious. He probably didn’t know your character, and thought you were like that; and was uncomfortable(I would be too). I’ve been in the MendesArmy for a year, and have seen Shawn’s genuine kindness and love for his fans.

The fact that you don't want to say stuff about people just in case they had a bad day or whatever is so mature and respectful. colleen is literally the sweetest person ever- normal people would have just completely called out people who were rude to her, but colleen gave the people who were rude to her such a high rating and really considered people’s feelings.THE SWEETEST HUMAN!!

It makes a lot of sense that youtubers would be more difficult to talk to because celebrities are constantly drilled on how to act through interviews, management etc and youtubers are just independents

I once met you (as Miranda Sings) at a meet and greet after you did a show in Philly and you were SO kind. I bought 2 tickets for my mom and I to come see you for Mother’s Day and we laughed all night long. When I met you, I gave you a CD that I had just released and you broke character to encourage me and it made such a great lasting impression. Thanks for being just as amazing of a celebrity to me as the people you mentioned in your video ❤️
