Stale Cupcakes is my absolute favorite Animal Crossing song. It's so peaceful and calming. I have it playing in my ACNH bedroom (the music box version). When my son was a baby (about 2021) I would sometimes play the Aircheck hour long loop in the room where he slept and he seemed to like it a lot.

KK Disco is my fave track along with Steep Hill. I love the lullaby versions on the clam music player too

I use K.K. Choral at the memorial area on my island. I dedicated my island to my cat since he passed away the day after I got my switch and a couple days before I got New Horizons. I go to that area to reflect or calm down, and that song with the waterfalls surrounding it really does something to me that I can't explain. That made me all the angrier (/lh, of course) when Kitty autofilled two days before I could amiibo Bertha in and she was playing that song in her house.

I have farewell playing on the pathway to a little memorial I made for my dog who passed, I thought it was fitting. Then at the memorial I Love You plays :) it's good for short thoughtful times. Some of my favorite KK songs are KK Ballad, Island, and Bossa! Steep Hill also goes so freaking hard.

the amount of clear cultural refferences is so lovely. its like K.K. travels around the world learning about each culture and their music and makes a song for each of em. also kk cruisin is LIT

24:37 the music is supposed to sound random, it's based on a brazilian genre of music called samba where you have to make quick leg movements to dance to it, as a brazilian i actually recognize biggening of the song as it's a part of one of the most popular samba songs!

I don't know how many people here played this game but KK Condor reminds me SO MUCH of the songs you had to play as Link in TLOZ Spirit Tracks!

Lolly is a permanent villager in my town. She likes to wear her orange comedian outfit and sings I Love You for half the day. It's a favorite of my villagers so we kind of had to adopt it too. We have a room in one of our houses devoted to all the Easter items. We play KK Faire, which we have dubbed "The Egg Song"

K.K Cruisin', K.K Bossa, K.K. Bubblegum, and K.K Jongara each have a room in my house. K.K. Khoomei reminds me of traditional chinese music. The weird sounds you like actually mimics what traditional chinese singing sounds like

What I usually do is have a music player near the plaza -- this time, it's a jukebox, but on past islands, it was a DJ booth -- and advance one song forward every day except 1) when the dog himself is there, the player goes off, and 2) K.K. Birthday is skipped unless it is, in fact, someone's birthday. A lot of the album art is based on real-world album art. Sadly, the Animal Crossing Wiki article on K.K. Break doesn't identify what its art is based on. Bubblegum K.K. is "Keke Aidoru", or "K.K. Idol", in the context of a singing idol. Hypno K.K.'s Japanese name means "Napping Dream". K.K. Casbah's name means "Turkish Song". K.K. Condor is called Perū no Uta (basically "Peruvian Song") in Japanese, so, yeah, South American. K.K Faire is Haisai Keke in Japanese; "Haisai" is how you say "Hello" in Okinawan, Okinawa being a part of Japan. Khoomei is a popular kind of Tuvan throat singing, and Tuva is a federal subject of Russia. K.K. Love Song's start makes me think of an old 1919 song (so a couple of decades older than my mother) called "Swanee". (Be warned, some performances you might find were done in blackface, so you may not feel comfortable viewing them, regardless of singer intent.) K.K. Lament is "Keke Enka". K.K. If they were in writing order, maybe you could expect to see trends, but this is mostly four songs in alphabetical order, then four songs in reverse alphabetical order, next row forward, next row reverse, etc.. Stale Cupcakes is really "Blue Onigiri". It's like, what is this 4Kids-inspired localization, guys? There's nothing like a stale cupcake, I guess.

K.K Folk is an absolute banger! But I can understand why you ranked it low. And KK Dirge is pronounced “Durge” it’s basically an old style of music that was intended for Funerals. Really sorrowful and depressing.

K.K. Soul is my favorite song. But I think objectively, Steep Hill is the best one of all. It's a total masterpeace.

it's definitely up there with the top. i think, composition-wise, steep hill, two days ago, k.k. sonata, k.k. moody, k.k. milonga, k.k. lament, agent k.k., k.k. bossa and bubblegum k.k. knock it out of the ball park.

Hypno K.K. Is my favorite song. It sounds like that because it’s being played backwards. Normally a note has articulation at the beginning of it and ends much softer. Since hypno kk is backwards the articulation happens at the end of each note which gives it the creepy vibe.

22:15 Keke rally is supposed to be the song that is played at a Japanese festival (matsuri) where people dance along to. 29:20 It is a graduation song. The original title is “Keke sensei”=Teacher Keke and the cover art is of a class picture tacked onto a bulletin board.

Have no idea if he knows this, but Go K.K. Rider does have other remixes and covers is Super Smash Bros Brawl and onward! The beginning is played by a bunch of trumpets

King KK, in my opinion, is very underrated. The whooshes and hints of Tom Nook’s town tune really give off a great vibe.

Stale cupcakes was the first song I ever purchased on animal crossing and it was my favorite for so long. I was new to the game and I didn’t understand it was a song so it was sitting in my storage for so long until I realized it can be played on a speaker. I just got it for the silly name

K.k. Bubblegum and I have a weird history. So around ten years ago. Back in the new leaf days. I streetlassed their girl in the streetpass plaza. This girl (I forgot the name of her) her name town was named créme. I walked into her house and it was really pink. Bubbly and cute. And bubblegum k.k. Was playing. Then I went downstairs and literally the most TERRIFYING pattern of this creepy EERIE face on the wall. And it was small and dark 😭. I literally was shaking at my 3ds. Went back upstairs and I haven’t seen bubblegum k.k. The same ever since

Mr. K.K IS a graduation song! the text under it on the cover reads "Keke Sensei" (Sensei being the word used to refer to your professors and teachers in japanese), and the characters surrounding him in the cover are all dressed in school uniforms. i think it's pretty cute! my favorite song is a tie between stale cupcakes and I Love You, they're both just so pretty to me! i also really love k.k synth's live version, and the music box version from new leaf was also very pretty

KK Bubblegum is overrated, HEAR ME OUT. Edit: I don't say I dislike the song, it's just that you just hear it pretty much EVERYWHERE in Animal Crossing. Also why'd you force your villagers to just sing it for thousands of hours? 🤷🏻‍♂️ There are so many songs that are so much better than Bubblegum.

For the first time I noticed the Aries Rocking Chair in the K.K. Break cover. I personally love the Aloha song, I always think about it when I get stressed and it helps me to calm down again. But there are is so much good music in this game!

"Chorinho" is pronounced with the CH sounding like SH, like in "shovel". Also, the NH part sounds like the GN part from "lasagna". Soulful K.K. didn't deserve a 2 though...

K.K. Synth is my favorite ac song, it doesnt sound as good in acnh, but with that old-school pixel sound, it sounds almost.. fleeting? its hard to explain

The song "Steep Hill" has always spoken to me. One day, I heard it and cried. It wasn't sad, it was just so deep. I believe that it is the most meaningful, deepest, and most memorable K.K Slider song. It feels as though it's trying to convey a deep and meaningful message. If you haven't heard it all the way through yet, I suggest you do.

Gotta hand it to KK, man's not afraid to try out every single genre of music out there

K.K. Dirge and Hypno K.K. are creepy songs. But I think Dirge is the creeper one because of the lower and more muffed sound. Muffed audio sounds a lot creeper than more clear audio.

Kk salsa was in my living room in new leaf for a long time. I put it on my beach in new horizon but then changed it to kk mariachi, but kk salsa has a special place in my heart, same for steep hill.

K.K. Bashment is the clear winner for me. It goes with everything and is just a vibe. I *think* it was a post NH release song so I don't think it's gotten its time to shine yet. Honestly the fact that dirge plays in the ganon amiibo villager’s house sorta wraps it back around to being charming. With the goofy but still scary chanting it’s the perfect villain theme for an all powerful lord of darkness trapped inside a grumpy chibi pig body.

Mr. K.K. actually IS a school related song, as the album depicts a school photo and the text says Keke-sensei.

my favourite k.k. songs are as follows: agent k.k., k.k. aria, k.k. ballad, k.k. chorinho, k.k. hop, k.k. house, k.k. lament, k.k. waltz, steep hill and two days ago. out of all these, my all time faves (i can't pick out) are agent k.k., k.k. chorinho, k.k. hop, k.k. lament and two days ago. i LOVE how k.k. chorinho got the attention it deserved. out of all the new songs, it seems to be the most underrated one. it is SUCH. a banger. i love the guitar at the beginning, and then how they key changes (i am a SLUT for minor-to-major key changes, they hit some spot in my brain). i love the latin/spanish-inspired ones in general- k.k. mambo, k.k. samba, k.k. tango, k.k. flamenco, k.k. moody, k.k. milonga, k.k. condor, with exception of mariachi, i don't hate it, i just feel like they could've gotten a lot more creative with it. and k.k. samba gets bonus points for leaning in heavy on the cuíca- one if my favourite instruments.
