look at last game, when he was subbed of, Tottenham started to get way closer to the goal. Arsenal stopped pushing tottenham away from the defence, it was like a line with 10 players right outside the goal. nobody pushed forward anymore after he got subbed. i just dont get why people dont see how important that guy is.

@@Truckman311977he is the player we’d miss the most. His substitute is the weakest of any position. We only crashed so hard last season to salibas injury because tomiyasu got injured at the exact same time. Whereas if odegaard gets injured we’ve got Fabio vieira who is inconsistent at best, and smith Rowe who lacks match fitness and confidence. Neither of whom could press or link up play anywhere close to how odegaard does.

I’m a City fan season ticket holder and agree. We can cope with pretty much any other individual being out for a period of time but if Rodri is out for several games, we usually drop points. KDB has the most ability in the squad, Foden has had the best season…. But Rodri is most important

As a Arsenal fan I can comfortably say that Saka isn’t world class. He hasn’t got the flair and the silkyness to be considered as a world class winger. Therefore he’s a bit like Salah where he has to put up 30+ g/a in the prem consistently and win some silverware in the next couple seasons to be considered world class
