I am extremely baffled Infinite warfare got a 2 in campaign? you think it was worse than MW3 2023 story wise it was a bit weak in some areas, such as the villain being generic and kinda just there but everything else was top-ish tier call of duty Especially the mechanics and difficulty, no other recent call of duty tried as hard in that area the campaign felt like a blazing joy ride making sure you are having fun that goes out on a sombre boom rather than an emotional thought provoking joy ride making sure you're emotionally invested in the story

Ink, IW Mp was better than CoDs 1-3, WAW, Ghosts (which you acknowledged) and AW. You definitely need to re-experience it. It’s not bad.

I’m baffled that you think the ttk is fast in MW 2019 and MWII (which it is btw but I think that’s a good thing since it makes guns rewarding) but you didn’t mention (for most of those at least) that the ttk was fast (and faster actually) in CoD4, WAW, MW2, BO2 or MW3. The ttk was faster in all of those those games (besides BO2) compared to MW 2019 or MWII.

I am glad you gave the ghost campaign the recognition it deserves. On top of that, it is rare but nice to see someone like the BO series above the MW series.

My only gripe, since I've only recently really gotten into cod, is your infinate warfare campaign ranking. This may be because it was the first game I played a lot but I enjoyed how you could choose your weapons and path through the story and the characters weren't that bad, especially ethan.

It's good that Ink didn't include zombies, as I feel that comparing a cod between the mp and the zombies can lead to wildly different answers, especially for games like iw and mw3

The MW-BO2 era was straight up banger after banger. That being said I'm one of very few people who actually enjoyed the Ghosts, AW & WW2 campaigns for what they were. BO3 was a good story told in a completely asinine way.

I would agree if any of the characters were rememberable I finished campaign when it was new can’t remember a single mission or character but I remember so many iconic characters and missions from black ops and MW games

The original CoD was one of the best Campaign, especially when you add United Offensive, which I consider as one of the main titles of the series as it was part of CoD1.

Something a lot of people forget about with AW campaign is how you can upgrade your exo suit as you progress. I like the idea of starting out as a pretty basic soldier and building yourself up into a super soldier, with the ability to pick and choose what upgrades you spend your points on.

Very shocked by your Infinite Warfare Campaign take. I personally think it’s the MOST character driven story they’ve ever done. The characters feel the most real.

Nothing last forver just accept it you can’t enjoy the same thing forever if you could then you would still play it because the games not dead especially zombies is so active to instantly load into a public match and multiplayer is easy to find a match as long as it’s a game mode that’s played often

I won't lie campaigns that were short in story gameplay and cinematics ... were Cold war, Vangaurd, mw2(2022) (had high expectations as it had more development time but learned it was the other way around), and Call of duty Mw3 (2023) (campaign felt short same as mw2 I hope .. next cod in 2024 at the end of the year taking place in gulf war better be long same and as well as 2025, 2026, and 2027 and farther out but will cross my fingers don't wanna get my hopes up will try anyway)

COD WW2 multiplayer is underrated. 1. Introduced War Mode 2. Introduced Shipment 3. Introduced a perk system that has been revised to what we know today. 4. Most weapons in any call of duty multiplayer.

I will stand by saying Infinite Warfare is & forever has been underrated. They made the BO3 movement more smooth, faster, upgraded the bad Supply Drop system to a free system, & gameplay was good. People hated on it from the trailer & never gave it a fair shot. Its reputation is stained & no one can really give it an open minded opinion nowadays.

Call of duty black ops 2 receive a security update on Xbox 360 to make mods and hacks not working anymore by banning modded consoles from online servers

IMO Cod 1 and Cod 2 should of been ranked higher with their campaigns. I understand that you didn't play them when they released and could only experience them from a modern CoD player's perspective BUT, at the time they were revolutionary in terms of telling story inside a FPS game. The trend at the time was that in FPS games you were a one man army who could single-handedly determine the outcome of the world. CoD 1 was one of the first games where you weren't that person, instead you were a simple soldier amongst many who helped turn the tide. My personal favourite scene in the original CoD was the first mission of the Soviet campaign where you wasn't given a gun but instead an ammo clip and was pushed out into battle.

I feel like Black Ops was meant to be its own game at one point considering it had a theme of top secrets and espionage that would make you rethink what happened in history, and that it never happened because Alex Mason was implied to be killed by his own government, which paralleled what Reznov said “The flag may be different but the methods are the same” It was just so good that they made a sequel that also partially had that secretive theme to it but was more focused on drone warfare. Black Ops 3 actually had a very unique and genius conception of AI becoming so advanced to corrupt the human mind via bionic engineering and DNI. I liked how the usage of simulations made level design more creative ie the WW2 segment. If it had more to do with the previous game and better characters it would’ve been better. Honestly it has no reason to be called Black Ops but it makes sense to why it’s in the same lore

AW campaign is still in my top 5, I personally loved the characters and all the missions felt so vibrant and different due to the impeccable graphics for the time. It felt real. Fighting in a frozen tundra, to on a collaping Golden Gate bridge, to the middle of Seoul and the slums of Nigeria. People including Inkslasher don't seem to notice the diversity in locations in this game or just don't care at all which upsets me knowing all the tiny little details that they put into the campaign missions will mostly go unnoticed.

This just confirms the golden age of cod died after BO2

12:20 For Call of Duty: Ghosts, 8 of 10 is not bad - it's like 80% great. It's one of the best COD video games.

The older CODS get glazed sooo much I’m good at sniping and reg-guning and I think MW2019 and above destroys the older COD. I am mainly a sniper soo I’ll have different views points but still the older cods it was the first person to see the other and that’s who got the kill but now you see me your camera is in my packet and your skipping the kill cam. ww2 was the most underrated for me, In my opinion easily the most emotional campaign out of them all

I just hope that cod black ops 1 and 2 are ever gonna be available on ps4, these 2 game stories are so historical and amazing!

I’m actually really confident for this years campaign. In my opinion I think it’ll be similar to WWll where there’s just 1 to 2 big teams I.e America and Britain fighting against another big country I.e Iraq whilst introducing us to new characters. I also personally don’t think we’ll have any characters from Cold War being introduced in this campaign.

I don’t know what happened to the originators, Infinity Ward. Once the founders Jason West and Vince Zampella were released, the MW series was shortly lived from greatness.

This might be just me but I really like the campaigns for ghost cause it shows us how America would act if they got hit hard, Advance cause it’s a look into how much tech can play a role in warfare and a storyline about revenge, Infinte cause it’s the first time COD has tried looking into the future when humans go beyond earth. I can’t wait to see more like these and what this year’s COD will look like I’m guessing our first trailer will be in aguest or maybe July.

I feel like if infinite warfare was released today, it would have a much different perspective from the cod community. It was a great game, but they released it at a time when nobody wanted it. Imo it is one of, if not, the best campaigns (gameplay wise) in any cod

Mw3 2011 still is the best cod out. Cod 4 almost as good, despite having the best campaign. Every other cod taking the third best spot and after is purely up to debate

COD 4 has a soft spot for me as the best COD ever although I haven't played it in years and it could be your rose colored glasses. I am an odd ball for the community though as I liked Ghosts, COD WWII, and even Vanguard to some extent. Not the only ones I enjoyed but the ones I liked that others dont. (I also tend to go back and forth playing Hardcore and Core so faster or slower time to kill doesn't bother me as much I will just play the other mode.) Whereas, I didn't love the advanced movement games although they were fine they were my, play a few games and turn it off, games for me. Great job doing the work to break down your choices. Although I don't totally agree I appreciate the work and where you are coming from.

CoD1 and 2 definitely deserve higher scores. Although the story is very much predictable but the atmosphere of war was stunning and no other game at the same time could compete. They were truly epic experiences.

I guess the Ghosts one was fair. Campaign was awesome, I can feel what they were going for, the message behind it. I didn’t play the Ghosts multiplayer online, so I don’t have much of a opinion

with WW2 multiplayer the customization with weapons and characters was great in my opinion you can even add symbols words color to your words or symbols with your weapons in WW2 and also the headquarters you can challenge someone on the fire range too

they should do a reskin of the og ACR for the MCW rn where we get the og irons and sounds

Tbh cod 2 & 3 were my first cod games & cod 3s MP is decent I say this due to the chaotic fun you can have in modes such as war, and capture the flag

Ghost is actually one of if not my favorite multiplayer knew the ins and outs of the game. Worlds 2nd in clan wars and the leader disbands the whole clan i’ll never let it go 😅 Campers weren’t an issue to me I blame the PR for all the hate that it got

I think the biggest things the community needs to comes to grips with is this: 1 - you don’t necessarily know what you want at times and might end up loving a game you think you’re going to hate. 2 - everyone has different tastes, some will hate a certain game but not another and vise versa, and you should be open about others opinions. 3 - The call of duty franchise has slowly become less of a game and more of a revenue stream for Activision, and this trend is likely to continue and you shouldn’t get your hopes up just because Microsoft owns activision now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking MW2019 has the best MW campaign. Really enjoyed it. I respect your opinion about Infinite Warfare, but I think the campaign was solid too. Not the best but 7/10. I think Cold War deserves to be a bit higher at 8/10. That campaign was one of the best.

Also I really didn’t mind the MWIII campaign up until the last mission. I won’t spoil it for people that didn’t play it yet but the way a certain characters death was handled was horribly done and it was obvious that it was thrown in at the end for shock value. The final scene was also very underwhelming. But other than that, I loved Makarov’s introduction and I thought the Passenger mission wasn’t as good as No Russian but it still was pretty horrifying and sets the stage for what we can expect from Makarov moving forward.

honestly the only one i disagreed with was Infinite Warfare. yes the campaign was confusing to understand but it was just fun to play through yk?

I don’t understand why clean house is everyone’s favorite mission it’s short and boring. Not a bad mission but I think the embassy mission the London mission where you meet cpt price the mission where you play as kid farah and j-12 breaks in and a few other missions all way better than clean house.

COD 2 easily deserves a 7/10 for campaign IW is easily one of the better campaigns in the series. Also a 7 or 8/10

Ghosts and WW2 had the similar fate, both great campaigns, good overall gameplay but half of the MP maps just sucked or were too big. I can go back and play Ghosts but only enjoy playing Warhaw, Strikezone and Octane. I can go back to WW2 and only enjoy playing Gibraltar, London Docks and Ardennes Forest. Both gunplays were good, movement was simple and fun, create a class was a bit different on WW2 with divisions but thought it was a nice change, especially with the overhaul making it less restrictive. Both games get hated on too much imo.

For the ghosts campaign, 10/10

I love mw2019 but 6.5 is very understandable, i give it a 7.5 i hated how SLOW the movement was, the scar h was the most underrated gun because of how slow u ran with it but it dealt a lot of damage
