I can't believe Raticate is this good. Super underrated Pokémon in this meta. Hope you enjoy throwing Returns into unexpecting opponents it as much as I did! (Journey to Legend, Episode 7)

Disclaimer: I'm fairly new to Go Battle League. I've played Pokémon GO sporadically since 2016, but I've basically just been clicking buttons. This season, I've set a goal to reach Legend Rank for the first time! I'll be documenting the entire process here (probably won't make it though lol)

I saw a spicy Raticate the other day when I was at 1977 elo. I didn’t know what to do, didn’t know Raticate’s typing or move set.

Fair. I used the purified version because it was tankier and ranked higher on PvPoke (also it was already built and just sitting there lol)

Return go boom 😂 (it’s a just a normal-type move learned by purified Pokémon that hits like a truck)
Why tackle on raticate? Isnt quick attack superior

You 100% want 0 attack for most pokemon in the great league.

Bc the higher the stat, the more weight is given to that stat. So for GBL you typically want Higher Def and HP, bc it will give your Mon more bulk to take more hits, while you don't actually lose all that much by having a lower attack.
