Zack you need to break all of the boxes to get lots of bolts so that you can get the higher price weapons and to save on ammo use your omy wrench to break boxes and to hit your enemies

Anyone still scratching their head at the finale of Returnal? Lol. Zach was like "What, that's the end?" Haha

I remember beating ratchet and clank all 4 one on my PS3 one hundred percent, now the games look like movies, craxy

Oh they're a blast actually. I do miss the humor of the old ps2 games compared to the new ones though. They dumbed it down a bit for the kiddos. But gameplay is always solid.

Me too my dad had a Ps2 i was 6 at the time and i fell in love with the game and i would use to scratch up his disc and would get mad at me good times, i hope to get this game soon

I subscribed all the way back when the wii u came out then i unsubscribed about 2 years after but i just came back and i see you haven't changed much

New subscriber for about 2 months and first comment... Been watching a lot of your playlists and really enjoy them... Watching the Luigi's Mansion from 8 years ago... Would love to see ya play the SNES Secret of Mana or Secret of Evermore, maybe Zelda Link to the past...

This is my first look at rachet and clank I am curious to see how it plays out

I love how this game has so many cutscenes and so much dialogue that it seems more like a movie than a game.

All of the cutscenes combined is 2 hours long so it really does feel like a movie.

Interesting seeing someone play this without having played any of the previous titles. Yeah, I think Ratchet and Clank was one of the mascots of PS2 back in the day along with a few other games. I have played like half of the series and really love it. Raritanium is important for upgrading your weapons, but you don't have worry about if you miss some on a map. Normal bolts (from breaking boxes, killing enemies etc.) buying weapons and potentially other stuff. Golden bolts are just collectables, but they always unlock something in menu and can make the game different in some ways. This game seems have to have other collectables as well, which might have some uses in the menu.

Man, remember his angry bird's videos? I love this dude from the day he use to play in like 2013!

You never played a Ratchet and Clank game before Zack? Well first thing I'm gonna say is that, you won't be able explore an entire planet 100% the first time and will need to comeback later once you have certain gadgets. Also make sure to use your weapons as much as possible. You get exp from killing enemies for yourself but you get exp for your weapons overtime as you use them to deal damage towards enemies. You need to get as much bolts as possible to get all the weapons in this game and believe me you will need all of them. So BREAK ALL THE CRATES YOU SEE, I MEAN ALL OF THEM. THEY GIVE YOU BOLTS THAT MAKES THE GAME EASIER! I'm a mad fan of the Ratchet and Clank series, I have all the games and 100% most of them at least once along with challenge mode. I don't have the movie game of course and I'm actually not too okay with the franchise continuing after A Crack In Time. I still think it was better to let the game franchise be put to rest after that game because I didn't really like "All 4 One" and "Into the Nexus". It's also because I believe A Crack in Time ended the series pretty conclusively. I'm also just tired of Dr. Nefarious being brought back so much. Aside from that, WHAT HAPPEN TO LAWRENCE?! Did he retire and moved on from being his butler although Nefarious lasted this long at all was because of him? Oh btw Zack, I highly recommend you try out the older games from the PS2, you can see the improvements to the gameplay it had over course of the franchise. My first game was "Going Commando" and I sucked at it initially and this game series can be a bit of a bullet hell and it has only became more and more of one the later the game. Honestly, the games may not be numbered but they are not stand alone in the slightest as all of them are direct sequels to one another. So you are missing a lot of context playing this game while not having played the older ones. I mean A LOT of context specifically ELEVEN games worth of context.

I just started the first Ratchet and Clank yesterday on the ps4. I'm having a lot of gun so far and I hope you consider playingthe first one after this playthrough for the whole story.

you should do the rest of the ratchet games well well worth it to play the story from the beginning, such an amazing saga ratchet,clank,rivet and kit.

I also never play any ratchet game, so this might be interesting.
