The fact that this boss fight is so long and if you die you have to restart from the very beginning is super frustrating. I’ve had a few runs where the game kind of just screws me at the end.

I like how he said how to defeat drek easily despite him almost dying

I got the Trilogy Collection years ago and discontinued on the very first game because I couldn't defeat Drek. I was also very impatient when I wasn't reaching 150,000 bolts quickly to unlock the R.Y.N.O. (now I have the patience and will get to it). I picked up this game back up for ol' time sake after 3/4 years and almost had 'em but kept fucking up, lol. Because of these simple techniques, I finally beat this dude. Great video, my friend.

I personally liked UYA, A4O, FFA and ITN

I loved this boss fight so much because once I finished it I kept replaying it

Since I never made much bolts, I stopped buying weapons after the Tesla Claw. The only weapons I have been using against Drek are the Blaster, Tesla Claw, and the Devastator. Would you say this loadout is good, or no?

"Easily", proceeds to almost die with one life remaining. I'd done this boss with only 5 lives and was really frustrating.

How to beat Drek without the RYNO: 1. Spam Devastator and Tesla Claw 2. Use PDA for ammunition

Don’t use the PDA! It costs extra and theirs plenty of ammunition on the battlefield! Only use it as a last resort!

Damn i totaly forgot that you can buy ammo when you battle him lol😂😂😂😂

I’ve had 4 cracks at Drek and furthest I’ve gotten is about 1/5 of his health left... I dont have enough for the Tesla or Ryno. It seems to be all about patience, I only wish theyd give you more ammo crates. Will update if I defeat him! EDIT: HOLY SHIT I BEAT HIM FOR LIKE THE 15th time. I only had 5 health things too, not 8 like this guy, fuck i was shaking, the ammo crates are so inconsistent fuckk

No stop all of this ! I remember sitting afk after after glitching out of bounds at race track to get bolts to buy RYNO for him, but its really simple STEP 1: Take Pyrociter STEP 2: Get close and personal STEP 3: Fire away and deals massive Damidge!

I remember doing that glitch too with the Taunter in the race to get all those bolts.....I feel like it's legit the only way to get the R.Y.N.O during the first play through before beating Drek for the first time

My only defense of the boss is that i think it has a good niche of feeling good if you beat it and technically i dont see anything cheap or unreactable about it. I do completely agree it overall isnt good though. Any boss that is easier to cheese than fight straight up, makes most of your wepons feel useless, has an optional weapon be required to beat him among other problems is very hard to call good

I almost beat him on my first attempt, but then it just kept getting worse because I had to spend thousands of bolts to get my ammo back

This boss was tense

This is a good tactic for a dum game mechanics. Hope in a future games they make , they have a save after each fase, some extra shields, and a fair fight.

The Tesla Claw is the only weapon whose gold version comes close to the R.Y.N.O.
